Straight Leg Trousers

These trousers are generally a lovely fit except that the slightly below waist band is a little loose at the back. Otherwise they are great.

Nice cut and perfect fit. Medium weight material so neither too hot or cool. Slight issue when wearing pop socks underneath as legs tend to stick statically - solved by wearing ankle socks with high heels instead

All I can say is the quality is not good ie I have never had a pair of M&S Trousers that when you are sitting for while the become baggy at the knees - not good

I brought these to wear in the office at work they seemed ok I worn them a few times then washed them but the seem around the waist band has all split so I'm not to happy with the quality really and £25 paid is not exacting cheap

I am of average height but found that these trousers were far too long (at least four inches) so had to be returned.

Very narrow across hips. Shame as length good

Lovely trousers, if a little big. I take a 14 in a trouser but these seemed a little larger than usual, but very comfortable. Would definitely recommend them

Not only do these trousers fasten to the wrong side, there is a lack of stitching going down the left hand side of the zip (as you wear them) that results in the fabric pulling apart and exposing the zip. This gives a really unflattering look to the trousers and at first I thought my zip was undone until I realised what had happened. I would plan to return them but only noticed this problem while wearing them at work so had no choice but to wear them all day.

I bought these for work but was disappointed with the quality of the fabric as it seemed very flimsy and floppy so I don't think it would stand up to repeated washing very well. Nice shape and fit though.

Bought these for my mum who is a size 16. The two way stretch is perfect for her for a great fit and comfort. Was apprehensive with regard to the low rise but she is very happy with the fit.

I bought two pairs of these trousers online about 3 months ago along with the matching jacket. One pair of the trousers fitted and the other didn't as it was much smaller. I went to the Edinburgh Gyle store and found another two pairs - both with differing fits, so kept the initial pair and returned the rest. They then were out of stock until two weeks ago when I ordered another 3 pairs to try - again sizing not all the same. I have noticed other similar comments from other reviews, so am disappointed that M&S don't appear to have corrected the problem. They are obviously part of a suit and ideal for work - if the fit is correct so why they should be out of stock for months is not helpful!

Trousers ill fitting around the waist and to long although purchased short length as usual. They may have been wrongly labeled. Sizing of clothes is inconsistent not as it was. Marks could be trusted to stock good clothing but not anymore. Would prefer to pay more and get quality.

Had purchased the matching jacket which had said it was part of a suit, ordered the slim trousers first which were much too shot (even though I ordered long!)t, these were great and make the perfect suit and with 20% off even better!.

Quality very poor and sizing gone all to pot.
