Love it it’s warm but not overly thick which as a bigger girl is perfect and as I’m 5ft3 so I don’t look like the Michelin man the length is perfect if your tall this isn’t for you , length of sleeves perfect for a shorter person if you have long arms think you’ll struggle with the she arm length

Simply the best coat ever

This is simply the best coat I have ever purchased. It's brilliant value. As someone who is on the short side (5 ft 3.5") I have finally found a longline puffa that does not swamp me down to my ankles - it comes to just below my knees. It's nice and warm and quilted but feels light on. Another bug plus is that it's a bit A-line: it 'fits' top half (without being tight) but then is more roomy going down over tummy and hips so as someone with a definite pear shape it suits me perfectly (so many other puffa coats seem to forget that many of us ladles have a bit of a pear shape). I love wearing it. I love the shaped side vents. I got the black as it goes with everything and I love the contrast zip pulls. It is true to size and roomy enough to accommodate wearing a long cardigan and scarf underneath on really cold days. I had been looking for a longline puffer coat for a couple of years and this coat is the perfect find. Thanks M and S for this affordable and brilliant coat, I feel ready for winter now.

So happy with this coat, it’s perfect, I’m petite so this isn’t too long or padded to swamp me. The arms are fine for me personally. Brilliant for Autumn & Winter

Absolutely love this long puffer in gorgeous plum colour. It's not bulky, its warm and with a lovely padded hood and fleece lined pockets, bought my normal size, top marks and with an offer on my sparks card, really very pleased, love it. Highly recommend. 5 stars.

A stylish, waterproof warm coat

I had tried two very expensive rainproof quilted long line coats from a well known supplier. The sleeve length was ridiculous on both and their shipping so unreliable that I looked at M&S and was amazed to find this coat for a fraction of the price! It’s lightweight and warm and I love that it’s waterproof. Being able to remove the hood is great. Another useful feature is that the zip also opens from the bottom but it doesn’t feel that sturdy so hopefully that will last. The sleeves are a perfect length and the elastic cuff is useful. It just draws the fabric enough together to keep the draughts out and isn’t tight in any way. The only thing I’m not so keen on are the gold/sand coloured zip heads and strings attached. Overall though I love my new coat and feel smart and stylish.

Lightweight, Warm and Cosy

I love it. Lightweight, warm and a lovely plum colour. The challenge was trying to get the correct fit. I started with a size 22, then a size 20 but still too big. The size 18 was perfect with enough room to allow for a sweater. The sleeves could be a tad longer but I still will get a lot of wear out of this coat.

Lovely coat

This coat is perfect for me but arms might be a bit short for some people. On another note, M&S please use a photographer that takes pictures of the clothes not people at weird angles and bags across the front.

The coat says what it does on the tin, keep the rain off. Love the blackberry colour. Could be a little warmer. I’m not sure that I will be able to wear it in Dec/Jan

Very useful lightweight and warm winter coat that shakes off the rain (not yet worn in a downpour but it coped well with light rain). Detachable hood a positive feature.

Great cost but sleeves a little short on me

The design of this is great, although not sure how warm it will be on its own - I wore a down gilet under it at 3C yesterday. I’m a size 10 / 5ft 2in, and the fit and length are fine and roomy despite the app recommending a 12, so I would say it comes up big. However the sleeves are on the short side for me, and I don’t normally have this problem. They look ok if my arms are just hanging down, but as soon as I bend or lift them they ride up my wrists and then there is a gap between my gloves and the sleeve. This is annoying, and I might have returned it if I had realised in time. As it is I either pull my jumper sleeves down, which doesn’t look great, or I will look for some longer gloves. This is its only down point though, so I would just recommend checking the sleeve length by bending and raising your arms if you buy it.

I really like the colour and it’s a change from black. The slit at the bottom makes it easier to move, in and out the car etc. I don’t think it will be very warm in cold weather though, it’s too lightweight. Pretty shapeless but I decided to keep it anyway.

Perfect coat for layering

Generous sizing, great for layering, plenty of room for a thick jumper or hoodie. Love the longer length Lightly quilted hangs nicely. not like a puffer coat that can be restrictive.
