This table is perfect for small areas, the fact it extends makes it ideal for when visitors come.

The table isn’t as sturdy as I thought, once opened out is quite unbalanced, it tips if you put too much weight on it ! Also moves across the floor too easily, generally not as good quality as I would like

We needed a small dining table and this one was excellent. It is stable and looks good and is just the size wanted, the delivery men were excellent. Overall very happy.

Easy to extend, fits perfectly in my home - just what I was looking for

This is a lovely table, it is small enough to fit neatly into my newly fitted kitchen/ dining room when I eat alone but extends into a table big enough to seat my family comfortably. It needed some assembly but was easily achieved. The extending mechanism is simple to use and there is a small storage underneath for table mats. It is perfect for informal occasions but also suitable for more formal gatherings.

This table is now just 5 years old and the hinges have failed. It is unstable in the extended position as any weight placed on either end causes the middle to separate and rise.

Really quick delivery. Managed to put it together by myself and it looks great. Really good size when it's folded but will be useful for when I have guests. Very happy.

Moving to new apartment and have been looking for a small table That will fit in my kitchen as I’m mostly alone but that can be extended if I have visitors. This fits bill perfectly, solid, extends easily, looks good and is excellent value , especially on special offer.

I was downsizing from a large round table and after much searching thought this ideal now there are only two of us most of the time. The quality is beautiful no doubt, but for us it doesn't work. I need to keep four chairs at least but only two can sit under the table. If you place four, it takes the same space as my large table because the chairs have to sit so far away but you haven't got the table surface. Un-extended, for four people you literally have space for your plates and cutlery only and your knees touch! In spite of the description, only two chairs can sit under the table at any one time. In spite of the description it does not seat 6, it seats four, because the legs don't move with the top, so comfortably, you can still have only one person each side or two sit with a large table leg between their legs.. Extended it takes up more length than my large table but still only seats four. All in all I wish I had not bought it. Check and double check that it does what you want. The delivery was typical of M&S, i.e brilliant, and the two guys who delivered and assembled were lovely. Wish I could be more pleased with item.
