This is the second Sonoma filing unit I’ve bought, to augment the one I purchased with a Sonoma desk a while back. Nice, functional design gives me the extra filing and drawer space I wanted as well as being the new location for my printer.

Good quality furniture , well made . No defects. It does seem a bit lighter than my other sonoma furniture but I did buy other pieces last year , it’s tucked away in a corner so it does not worry me too much. Better service with this order than my dining table with 3 legs and waited weeks for replacement!!

Delighted with this purchase which sits nearly under desk. If necessary easily pulled out as on castors.

It matches all the rest of my sonoma lounge furniture very well and has plenty of good storage place. Top wood surface a little disappointing

Excellent filing unit. Useful 2 drawers and filing drawer just right for my home office. Have read many complaints on here reference the difficulty in correct suspension file to use etc., I'm using A4 suspension files with tags and am having no problems at all. All round a lovely functional piece of furniture.

Good quality item, that goes with the rest of my sonoma office furniture. Have not been disappointed. Two drawers plus a4 hanging file drawer.

Have this under my Sonoma desk and it's great for storing all my files and documents.As always with Sonoma great quality and passes the test of time.

I bought 2 of these to go with the desk. Unfussy style, solid and well made. I use one under the desk and the other at the side with the printer on it. Personally, I don't find the bottom drawer a problem. It holds my suspension files and I just use smaller tabs which don't obstruct the operation of the drawer. I like the middle castor at the front which seems to help keep things steady yet also helps move the unit if required. Very happy with my purchase.

I have four products in this range and they look great. The file cabinet fits well under the matching desk but there certainly is a major design fault to be fixed. It is difficult to access the rear files without firstly removing some of the front ones otherwise your fingers get scraped. Come on M&S how about rectifying this problem for your customers by retro fitting longer drawer runners ?

bought the Filing Unit to match other Sonoma furniture.. as with the other furniture, it is well made and is of excellent quality.. the 2 top drawers are ideal for pens, pads, notebooks, etc.. my only criticism would be the height above the file rails in the bottom filing drawer.. the drawer will hold A4 suspended files perfectly, but the stick up tabs catch slightly on the drawer above.. that's the only reason i gave this 4 stars instead of 5:)

Bought two of these to go with the desk. Match well, but functionality is zero. You cannot use file labels as the drawer is not tall enough - they get dragged off when opening and closing. The filing drawer also does not open fully so you cannot reach the rear files. Whoever designed/commissioned this piece of furniture needs to actually try this unit out. To call it a filing cabinet is a misdescription. Terribly disappointed with it and it infuriates me whenever I have to retrieve a file from the drawer. Wish I could give minus points for functionality.

The filing cabinet is an excellent piece of furniture.We use it as a small piece of furniture in our study.We were delighted with the style,quality,functionality and also the delivery service. All in all an excellent purchase
