As said by reviewers before, you need to buy a size up from normal. I find myself buying two different sizes at the moment and sending back the ones that don’t fit. These are a bit crinkly, not cottony, but with the stretch will be perfect for a summer round of golf. Something to look forward to.

These trousers were advertised at my usual size (34W and 33L) and bought at the same time as a pair of M&S jeans, but whereas the jeans are a perfect fit, the trousers are tight! It is almost tempting to return and get a larger waist size, but suspect they will be too loose. Come on M&S and go back to having standardised sizing! Other than the size issue, they are good quality.

the best available and suitable for purpose in a lighter colour. More slim fit chinos and trousers in general please for the slimmer male. As this item hasn't been worn as yet, cannot comment on the results after washing.
