Far, Far too long

I usually purchase regular length trousers. But these are way too long for regular. I am happy to turn up a small hem but these would have needed several inches cut off to make them acceptable. Apart from the length they are a very thick pair of trousers, but quite slim fitting. But come on Marks and Spencer, we need more than one pair or work style trousers in navy. Not everyone wants or needs black .

These are made with a high quality thick, substantial jersey - very stretchy and comfortable, and don't cling to lumps and bumps. Probably the best trousers I've ever had. The 'secret support' lining however is too thin and loose to do much supporting - the thick fabric of the trousers does that itself. I find the lining (which only covers the top 8 inches or so on the inside of the trousers) rides up inside the trousers, but this isn't really a problem. At least, it makes them feel nice and smooth inside when you pull them up. As other reviewers have mentioned, the length seems to be very long - maybe we are expected to wear them with heels? I never wear heels, so for the first time, I have found I need medium rather than long length.

I bought these trousers on line so Was,nt sure about how they would be but colour and fit were fine but the length was baffling as I ordered a short length and these trousers seemed way too long. I will return to store to try another pair as I really like them, fingers crossed I can find the right length.i am 5'and Did,nt want to wear them with high heels.

These trousers are amazing, I'm about to order a second pair for me and a pair for a girlfriend. The picture really doesn't do them justice. Please M & S produce them in some other colours ie black & grey

Hooray....comfortable, smart trousers that fit around my waist and bottom but medium is far to long for me at 5' 6. As yet I haven't returned them but I have order the same item in a short length to compare. Fingers crossed!

I always buy size 18 trousers and am wearing 3 pairs bought last winter which fit me beautifully but with these the teeth of the zip would would meet and it was impossible to do them up.

Started at the top of the high street and searched every shop and finely ended up in M &S and found these. Excellent fabric which doesn't crease and has a flat front without a bulky button at the waist that can bulge when you fasten a tight fitting little cardigan over it.Nice detail stitching at the sides.Trousers are very warm. Originally I wanted straight and these have a slight flare but look ok.Regular length I have had in the past was too long but they ordered me short, ( perfect,) and they came the following day to my local M & S foodstore.Great service. Quite happy with my purchase.Good feed back from colleagues.Good price.

Been looking for trousers like this for ages. Warm, comfortable and still a neat, tidy look. Only bugbear i have with M&S trousers is the hook and eye fixing...it makes the waist look bulky.

I love these trousers and have now got both navy and black. They are beautifully cut, made of a thicker material which I would have expected to pay a lot more for. I am 5'5 and bought the short. The waist seems a little tight but that may just be my Christmas belly. Bravo M&S!

I returned these trousers because of the fasteners which was not acceptable. I bought these trousers because I thought they would be a better quality,but unfortunately I was mistaken. These pants are not a patch on the usual M & S trousers as they were far too long even the short were too long and I was not prepared to shorten them. M & S want to get a better provider for their clothes. Terri 43

These are amazing - fit really well, great quality material to hold in the lumps and bumps and perfect bootleg shape. They were so good I bought what I thought were the same pair in black BUT they are not - regular length in black is at least 1 inch shorter than the regular length in navy and the width of the bootleg is also narrower in black. The sizing also seems a little snugger (and not in a good way!) Not the same at all and nowhere near as good. Please M&S, produce the same trousers in black - I will buy two pairs!!
