Beautiful Floral Material

Although this small range was very popular on Instagram and likely to pop up everywhere, I intend to wear this skirt in my own sweet way and according to my own style. It matches perfectly with a M&S Blackcurrant Cashmere cardigan from a previous season and I love the navy background rather than black. I had a sizing issue with it initially but managed to find a skirt in-store which fitted me perfectly although I shall heed the warning from an earlier reviewer and fit a popper on the tie side of the wrap for better anchorage. I love it.

Loved this skirt and was able to pick up in the sale for half price. Really luxurious satin fabric which can be dressed up or down. Very flattering on the waist and the tie stays intact at the side.

Bought this in the sale(bargain) after seeing it all over instagram- love it - beautiful print and extremely flattering on. Lots of compliments on its first wear today and not creased at all - my clothes work hard as a primary school teacher. Well done M&S!

No, I don't recommend this
I have been searching for inspiration in a new skirt for a while and though the reviews for this skirt were interesting I thought I would give it a go. I had the jumper so it made sense. I was prepared to put in the odd stitch to feel more secure if I was taken by the fabric and pattern. The fabric is certainly silky and slippy but it would have been a very different purchase for me and I was open to this. Sadly, to my horror it didn’t fit around the waist and across my ‘Christmas’ stomach! It was returned but don’t be put off - it may look fab on you.

This skirt will see me through until spring. The colours in it are beautiful and varied, making it easy to pair up with different tops. I love it. Especially as I got it in sale.

This really is a lovely skirt. The colours are eye catching and vibrant. The satin material is a good weight and hangs well and, as far as I can see, does not crease. The double pleat under the tie is a stylish touch. I bought in my usual size - 12 - and it fits very well. I am 5'6" and on me it falls just below mid calf. I think it could have done with another button or a hook and eye near the tie as it does have a tendency to open due to the fabric type. I will probably use a hook and eye to deal with this. Don't let this put you off as, with such a reduction, it is a good buy. It's a versatile item - could be worn all seasons. I am wearing with an under slip and warm tights and boots at the moment. In the warmer weather could be worn with t-shirt and sandals. Also, it's smart enough to go from day wear to evening. The abundance of colour in the pattern makes it easy to find coordinating tops to wear with it.

Lovely skirt.... but

Fit and length good, fabric lovely and so pretty however, there are two major disadvantages: (1) the wretched tie will not stay done up - it slips on the fabric no matter how tightly you knot it - don't even consider a nice bow; and (2) be very very careful when you sit down on some chairs - high risk of slipping off with the satin. Last time I nearly landed on the floor, but got a pulled back instead. Such a shame!

This skirt is beautiful. It fits perfectly and is a lovely long length. Its surprisingly warm and the colours are beautiful. I wore it at a formal occasion and it was lovely with a black top and black boots. It will match many colours. I am really very pleased with this skirt.

I am so glad I bought this skirt -the fabric is lovely and heavy so it doesn't blow around in gusty weather, and hangs beautifully. It's a great pattern to wear with dark tights and a chunky jumper in the winter and seems to go with everything!

I love the fabric of this skirt, it is a lovely heavy weight satin. The wrap is a good cover as it covers the full front of the skirt, however due to the satin the ties don’t hold as well. I have stitched a fastener to the front of the skirt so that the ties are not required to hold the skirt front closed but can still be used. The pattern is stunning and can be dressed up or down.

This is not my usual sort of style of skirt but liked it enough to purchase one. Really pleased that I did. I have not worn it yet but for me the material used is lovely and silky with an abundance of colours that can be matched with various tops. The size and length were what they should be as this is not always the case for other items purchased. I benefited from the 20% discount which made this skirt good value for money.

Ordered this skirt online after spotting a female tv personality (can't remember who!) wearing it with a purple jumper which I recognised cos I own the same M & S cashmere jumper myself! Thought the skirt went well with it so wanted to see what it looked like on me. Having read some if the reviews I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the material (it's quite a heavyweight satin compared with other satin skirts I've tried on recently), The fact that it's so colourful means it offers loads of options as to what you can match it with - I really like that about it. The length is perfect on me (I'm 5ft 4"). However, I did find it a little tight on the waist but couldn't bear to return it so have just moved the button slightly!

Original bought the dress in this design but had to return as it simply swamped my 5’2” height. The skirt is beautiful however, perfect length and fits perfectly. Just trying to figure out what to wear with it now as there is simply so much colour in the skirt.

Right away it was the colour that attracted me. This is a good look for the winter months ahead. I am tall, 5 foot, 10. And an average size 12. But I read other reviews and decided to go one size up as it was a wrap skirt. Nobody wants a wrap skirt opening up and exposing too much flesh. Then I sewed on an extra button to wrap the skirt further around my waist. More material to the front of the skirt lessens limb exposure. And for those who said the material wasn’t thick enough for winter; try this: I wear mine with fine thermal leggings underneath. I’m very pleased with this skirt M and S. It’s a versatile piece that can be worn with everyday jumpers or slim fitted evening tops. Well done. Let’s see more striking pieces like this.

Good quality fabric which hung well, although the tie was slippy and kept loosening. Felt as if I’d travelled back to the 70s and, as I’ve been there before, not quite ready to repeat, so the skirt went back!

The shape and length of the skirt was nice and also the feel of it. Unfortunately the colour/design of the material was very frumpy so sent back

This is a nicely designed wrap over skirt with a colourful floral pattern that will go with lots of different tops from large knits for a casual look, to fitted tops for a dressier feel. It is lovely to wear and generous with the cut so It stays nicely wrapped around even in the breeze!

Loved the pattern but the hem was uneven and badly stitched the front drooped and the tie slipped. Sadly it was returned
