Very disappointed. The jacket was delivered as promised, but when I opened it, one of the buttons was actually missing off the front of the jacket. I found it in the inside pocket, but it was scratched. If this was a customer return, then surely someone should check it before it is sold to the next customer. I took it straight back to my local M&S for a refund. I expect victim No.3 should have it by now. This is not the standard I expect from M&S.

It’s ok for the price, but the sleeves can’t be shortened properly with the sewn-through buttonholes. I had to buy a larger size as my husband had put on weight, but his arms hadn’t got any longer! Also the regular fit is still quite tailored. Not bad fabric but cheap buttons.

This blazer fits very well for a regular cut. The fabric is wonderful and soft and smart looking. Its a pleasing deep blue but doesn't look near black. Overall look can be smart or casual depending on shirt and trousers. All details like buttons and pockets are high quality as you wonder expect from m and s. Great value, versatile blazer for all occasions.

Ordered this in a 42S for my husband's birthday but I should have paid more attention to the previous reviews. The tailored look of this product is totally spoiled by the excessive sleeve length in the supposed short sizing. It otherwise fits beautifully. The decision now is either to return it or pay extra for an alteration. In my opinion M&S should cover my additional cost of the necessary alteration. It will be interesting to discover if this will indeed be the case when I can next travel to the Argyle Street Shop!
