I'm very pleased with the overall experience buying cloths from M&S. The quality is very good - the fit is excellent and the look is good. I will buy more as and when required.

Purchased after having a pair of the 1884 lightweights. Prompt delivery, good quality. Unfortunately did not have the active waist indicated, but good fit. Hence two more different colour pairs ordered. (With active waist) Well recommended.

My husband loves these

My husband loves these trousers for summer. Had two pairs last year and wears them on a daily basis so decided to buy two more to keep for going out. Only complaint I have is that they are not easy to iron - especially the navy ones as every seam and pocket outline shows if you do not ease them out of the way as you iron and you cann't get away with not ironing them.

Great pair of summer trousers. Lovely feel and look and comfortable. Slightly narrowed above ankle which is fine. Bought two pairs. Have not worn as yet due to weather and not being able to socialise due to coronavirus.

Not quite the trouser for wet March days but they will be perfect when away on holiday and, hopefully, during warmer, dryer days ahead in the UK.

Look somewhat drain-pipey on a fat old man

These trousers suffer from M&S's move to a "slimmer" cut throughout their men's range. That's fine if your body has a slimmer "cut" as well, but for a short (29" inside leg) fat (40" waist) old bloke like me, it's NOT a good look, as the tapering, clingy legs serve only to emphasise the size of my bum and thighs. Quality control on sizing not good, as the pair I bought online and collected and tried on in-store was far too short. I tried on two other (supposedly identical) pairs off the rail in the shop and found leg lengths differing by more than one inch across the sample.
