Pure Silk Long Sleeve Shirt

Haven't worn yet bought for holiday.brautiful material and colour. Looking forward to wearing with smart trousers for a night out.

I bought this in pink. I'm a size 16-18 but there was only size 18 available on-line so I bought the larger size. It fits a little large on me but I don't like tight clothes and as it has a front placket to hide the buttons, it needs to be worn over trousers anyway. It's beautiful quality and feels nice next to the skin. I wore it today with a tailored boxy long cardigan jacket in dark grey and it looked great.

I have been looking for a silk shirt for a few months and have found nothing to match this for value and quality. One small complaint, the sleeves are a little long so will have to get them altered. Please M&S can we have more colours, a silver grey would be gorgeous!

I love this shirt and bought it in the rust colour when that came out. I would buy this in most colours as its very high quality and it feels lovely on. I am a size 16 with a heavy chest so it gives great coverage too and I feel very smart in it. With this colour you could also wear it with jeans and heels. Great top!

This shirt fits beautifully (I am a standard size 12) but doesn't cling. It is an elegant rich blue with a shiny satin finish which is very easy to dress up with jewellery for the evening or would look equally good with jeans for daytime. Excellent value for money compared to similar items from other retailers.

I sent for two sizes to make sure of the best fit. The smaller one was too small and the larger one fitted well on the body but the sleeves were much too long. The fabric was lovely and substantial and the garment was well made, but I had to return it as the fit had to be perfect at the price it cost.

The message I got back from my gift was, "Hmmmn...nice". Can't ask for more!

I bought 2 of these one in navy and one in blush.. I would be tempted to size down as they are very loose fitting.. Both shirts look fabulous with the burgundy flared trousers as seen on the model on the website.. Not sure why media say M & S clothes are not good at the moment. I think you have some fabulous pieces and have bought quite a few!

I so wanted this to fit. The material is beautiful and the style classic. Unfortunately I found the shoulders too broad, the look was spoilt as the seams were hanging off my shoulders. It may be I have narrow shoulders. i am not convinced, but I am 5' 3". I checked the picture on the model, who is 5' 11" and although slim, must have shoulders in proportion to her height. The shirt looked big on the shoulders on her - not as big as they did on me though. I had ordered an 8, as i am never too sure whether its an 8 or 10 I need. I had to return it as although I loved the material and cut, I couldnt pay this much for somethng that didnt fit well. As I have said, it might be that i am not a standard fit, so others may find it fits fine.
