Pure Cotton Percale 300 Thread Count Duvet Cover

I bought this item to cover a very lightweight 1 Tog duvet bought from M&S some time ago. My other bed linen is 300 thread count, and very soft. This duvet cover has been washed enough times to soften it, but it is like sleeping under lightweight cardboard. It is stiff and unwelcoming - although it was half price at £25 I would not recommend it unless you like sleeping under scratchy, stiff bedding. I suppose that is why it was reduced. My mistake M&S - I won't make it again. It is mis-described as luxuriously soft (my MA in Marketing tells me) and certainly is not comfortable.

Really lovely duvet cover, very simple and really white. Looks good quality. Not washed it yet. Present for my son. Great price as bought in sale. Very pleased with purchase.

This kingsize cover is great quality but was much too big for our kingsize M&S (all seasons) duvet. This might be because we are only using the summer-weight duvet at the moment. The size might be ok when the autumn weight one is used on its own or if both duvets are used together for the winter. Or perhaps M&S have changed the size of the covers since we bought our duvet? Hence the 3 stars. Anyway, had to return this but replaced it with a double size cover which fits our kingsize duvet perfectly and which is of great quality and comfort.

Although very plain, this duvet cover feels good next to the skin. I prefer a higher thread count but this is affordable and very good value.

Great for summer. Would have preferred to have some stitch detail for the top but I guess that would have put the price up

Delighted to pick this up in the sale. A touch of luxury having the higher thread count and much cooler and nicer than polycotton mices.
