Great shirt-disastrous dye

Excellent material, colour, size and price. Unfortunately there was a major problem with the dye batch and I had to return it after one wash. Very disappointing as I loved it. But the refund was prompt and professional. Great service. Sorry about the dye.

A pity but the dye is known to run

What a shame. I’ve got a couple of these shirts and they’re a firm favourite but the pink one has a known fault which is that the dye runs. They’re now out of stock as it’s considered an Autumn item, but I wear them almost exclusively in the Summer - perfect with a lightweight trouser. I hope the issue is resolved and the same colour returns to stock even if I do have to buy 9 months in advance, I will.

Sun damage

The fit and fabric are nice but I washed and dried outside on the washing line and now there's extreme sun damage (fading) in spots and overall fading. Therefore it now cannot be worn. I have treated the same shirt but in green the same way with no problem. Very disappointing.

Pink Pure Cotton Oxford Shirt

Unfortunately although the shirt was a good fit, the colour had not been "sealed" and therefore after only 1 wear and washing, the colour faded in patches and looked awful. M & S staff were brilliant and gave a full refund as they could see the problem. This shirt was also bought in another colour which has been worn and washed several times without colour fading. The usual quality you get from M & S

I loved this shirt until the sun shone
Originally posted on marksandspencer.com (UK)
Lovely shirt, lovely colour. Then the sun shone (a rare event in Glasgow so far this year), and the colour 'bleached' out of the shirt while I spent a few hours in Ruchill Park playing disc golf. Very disappointed (in the shirt; the disc golf was great).

Too big around the shoulders
Originally posted on marksandspencer.com (UK)
It's OK but there's too much material the shoulders and upper arms, so if you aren't well-built then it's going to feel baggy.

Ordered this item in my usual M & S size and it doesn’t come near the correct fit, is like a slim fit and the sleeves are long, very disappointing

Would not recommend-Husband purchased 2 of these today- being returned tomorrow - the sizes are way out ( 2xl) sleeve length is at least 4 inches too short and length at least 2 inches too short.

I bought these for the colour himself wanted to go with certain trousers. They are perfect colours, he’s happy. I do have to say they were little ‘tinkers’ to iron!!! . Probably not tumble dry??
