About this style
These kids’ chinos offer a lighter alternative to jeans and are adaptable to many styles, happily suiting both a best formal shirt and a cosy, well-worn favourite t-shirt. These pure cotton chinos are also brilliantly soft and smooth, and naturally breathable to keep kids cool.

Poorly made

On one side of the trousers the elastic waist adjuster had been sown too the trousers. This prevented proper adjustment of the waistband and also looked stupid. I swapped these trousers 3 times and on every pair there was the same fault. Obviously no quality control in the manufacturing process.

Bought for my son who needs a smart trouser to go with the seersucker jacket. Lovely deep indigo and unusual fabric for a chino. Lovely quality - more like a suit trouser than a chino. Just fitted so wish there had been a bit more give in the waist. These are a slim fit. A size up would be too long so we’re staying with them. They look great.

True to Mand S. Good fit, style, expandble waist band which is great. A little on the long side , but that what grandparents do, shorten items of clothing!!

Quick delivery, stylish slim looking chinos true to size (ordered size 14-15 which were slightly loose on the waist for my 14-year old son but easily adjustable). I compared these with three other pairs from different shops and these were by far the most stylish looking chinos and good value for money.

I ordered these for my grandson. They looked smart which was what we wanted for a christening. However I did order three pairs for comparison and he did prefer another pair. I felt they were good value.

Strange feel of fabric

M&S used to do SkinKind pure cotton school trousers but this year they are not to be found. So, in desperation, I purchased these pure cotton chinos. However, even though these are cotton, the fabric is extremely thin and has a strange artificial feel to it. Unfortunately had to return.
