Pure Cotton Checked Peplum Midi Dress

I love the orange one , but the fabric is quite see through , and it seems that whoever made the dress wanted a quick cheap fix for this problem , so they made a cheap , chami shaped lining that is a straight fit and it is too short and small for the dress. It is held in place by cotton and press studs at the shoulder , all in all overpriced for what it is

too big at top, so returned

Great for holiday, either with its slip dress to wear underneath or as a beach dress over a swimsuit without the slip. Nice cool material that doesn't cling. Would like a longer version for evening please!

This would be good if you're looking for a dress with room for improvement! Loved the fabric and good quality but definitely not for me.

This was one i have little excitement for be thought the lines would suit me. And I couldn't have been more right! I love the fact it has a slip dress under so with the fabric being sheer it works well. The longer at the back makes it a bit different and I've tried it on with high wedges and also some flats to change it scene of occasion. I have it in black and feel great. Another winner M&S

Really comfy summer dress, very easy to wear. Exchanged the short cotton underskirt ( thought it was a bit restricting) for a black underskirt I had in my wardrobe. My daughter was hoping to buy the dress in red but all sold out.

Sadly had to return both the black and orange (too bright) because on my short frame (5'3") this just resembled a tent. Fit fine on top but just too voluminous on bottom half for me to be flattering so sadly returned. Would rec. for a taller figure though as overall I liked it but just not for me

It should have been perfect. Hot colour and lovely style. However, there’s a lining, a woffel effect texture on the fabric and it weighs a tonne. I collected it. Tried it on. Took it back.

I loved this dress, a real nice colour. Very comfortable. The only thing that bugged me was the under garment which I guess stops it from being see through but was a little annoying as it would twist.

Just not very nice. Material quite shiny and quite stiff.

I ordered the orange colour which I liked. The fabric is a lovely cool cotton - as is the lining which I didn't find a problem like some reviewers - and if you don't like it it is removeable. The problem for me was the fit, I am on the heavy side and the raised front hem was far from a good look on me!

Lovely light material, loved it so much I bought the other colour as well.

Only fault I found was the lining was too tight. Luckily it wasn’t really needed as dress looked better without in my opinion.

Was too big and whereas some dresses in a softer fabric would drape and look okay, the fabric of this dress was rather stiff and made it look like I was wearing a tent Sent back ( very easily I must say)
