Good concept, very poor fit

No, I don't recommend this

While the first reviewer is right and this style is quite rare for girls and does look lovely, the fit is appalling! My girl is 19 months, 95 percentile for weight and 100 percentile for height. And the 18-24 months size is too big for her. They are too baggy and I need to pull them up constantly. They look like harem pants on her. She will grow into them but I need them now. I will have to size down as I like the style but it is a bit annoying that I have to do it. Also, more of a pet peeve: why put label on the bottom of a leg when these trousers are meant to poll up?

Jeans for girls,

Originally posted on marksandspencer.com (UK)

Yes, I recommend this

After three boys, I am very aware that girls clothes - I had their baby sister in April- are either tight, pink or unicorn-esqe (or all of above) I searched for 3-6 lightweight jeans everywhere and seem to only find leggings, tights, skinny jeans or “jeggings”. Thank you m&s, please more like this! I know you’re calling them chambray trousers, but I’d call them denim, loose fit, plain (which is good. A three month old really doesn’t need glitter or sequins) jeans! My baby is on 75th centile and these fit her waist well, not too tight. They are long but easily rolled up. I haven’t tumbled these yet but sure it would be fine. After being on the line, they definitely need an iron. Colour hasn’t faded nor do I think it will. The only thing is every time I go to put them on, I am not sure which is front and which is back. By your pic online, I am been putting them on backwards but there is no label to guide me! I will still keep buying them as she gets bigger though so please don’t stop making them. Does a little girl really need skinny jeans!
