Propoline Lupin & Laurel Tonic Shampoo 250ml

I have an allergy to Methylisothiazolinone, a product found in many household and personal products. Finding products that do not contain this chemical is really very difficult. Having been diagnosed as allergic and sourced many products, when I break out in the red, irritating rash that it causes I generally find that a product that did not have it in, now does. Therefore, my review is based on the fact that I need specific products free of this chemical and there are few to choose from so I am unable to speak as to Style, Quality, Value for Money or Presentation merely that I am grateful that these products are available.

I bought this on the basis of previous reviews. I have ageing and thin fine hair. I wanted a change from my usual shampoo but will be going back to it. This shampoo is ok, but my hair doesn't look any better as a result of using it. I found I had to use lots to get some sort of lather, and my hair was then knotting, which required a decent conditioner to smooth it out without unnecessary tugging through of the comb.

I 've been using Apivita products for the last few years. I am really happy that I can find them in the UK now.

My hair has started thinning as I get older so I'm always looking for a shampoo that can make it feel better. This lathers well and leaves my hair feeling soft and very shiny. I have very fine hair but I don't always need to use a conditioner when I use this shampoo. It is quite expensive but I don't need to use a lot. I will buy this again.
