One of the best purchases I have made. The length and style is just what I had wanted. After reading the other reviews, I did order a size down from my normal 12 and it fitted perfectly. The material feels quality. I have not washed it so cannot comment on how well it washes.

Nice fabric and style, but fit was strange - quite tight across the shoulder/bust and then very loose. Unfortunately didn’t do anything for me so returned. Liked the length as I am tall.

I like the idea of this dress but it only suits if you're a model or have perfect proportions. If you're top heavy or pear shaped or have a tummy then this style will make you look larger....m&s are doing a lot of dresses with a grill hem/trim and it makes the dresses look like fancy dress / costumes. Please keep the hem line simple or give the customer a choice....

This looked like a lovely, sophisticated dress in the photos. However, it is totally shapeless with far too much material in it and made me look like a very overweight woman (I'm a size 12). In addition, it was very tight across the shoulders.

This is a very pretty dress, perhaps more autumnal than summer though. I bought a size L as I am 16/18 but although it claims to be a relaxed fit, I found it way too narrow around the hips and therefore not at all flattering. Have found that with a couple of other relaxed fit dresses which seem to be designed for someone who is straight up and down. I think relaxed in this context means unstructured rather than generous!

Really nice dress but sadly too long for me. At 5' 5" it was a maxi on me. It's quite heavy, definitely an Autumn/Winter dress.
