Ponte Short Sleeve Bodycon Dress

Love the dress, great quality but needed to change it to a size smaller as it was too big (usually10-12 and had to get an 8)

this dress did not suit me as it was too wide on hips,but i think it would be ok on a more shapely person.

Loved this dress but it is really difficult to pull-on and off! It is a stylish design and good value for money but would suggest that a concealed side zip would have been helpful. I was really pleased with my choice, but sorry M&S I had to return it!

This dress looked fab on, really slimming, the style of sleeves and slightly longer length gave it a stylish 50's feel, looked amazing for the price.

Easy to wear and put on as it is all stretch with no buttons or zips. The only thing I didn't like were the arm holes which show your arm pits if you are not careful. The pictures suggest short sleeves but this is an illusion and at work I will wear it with a jacket but still very good value and will double up as an evening dress.

Wonky seams....did not sit well....not for me!! Maybe if the seams had been straight it might have been a different story but it's not the first time I have had to put a dress back with uneven seams. Disappointing M&S.

I found this to be a lovely fit and I liked the cap sleeves and the fact that it was just below the knee made it perfect.

This dress is absolutely fab. Have always been a little cautious of body con dresses, but this one is amazing.

Bought this dress for work and it's great - love the cut and the seam pattern. Nice length too. The dress is perfect for work as it's quite an inoffensive design, yet it is very flattering for your figure and very stylish. Very comfortable and a great fit. Rides up a little bit when you're walking around due to the fit and the material, but that's my only criticism - bit of luck it's a midi dress!! Other than that I would definitely recommend it!

under the arms were cut away too much so showed your bra. I felt there were too many seem that did not look good on me, although maybe would look good on someone else. The quality of the material was good though.

I'm a straight up and down size 8/10, so I bought the 8 in store and had to order the 10 as that was out of stock. The delivery service to store was very efficient. I found that the 8 was the better fit. The way the panels are shaped and the thickness of the material gave me a lovely sillouhette and actually gave the illusion of curves! There is plenty of stretch in the material so as not to restrict movement, making the dress a comfortable wear. I received a number of complements and will definitely wear it again and again using different accessories to dress it up or down according to the occasion. A great purchase.

This is quite a heavy material and would be too hot for Summer or for a hot, crowded function. It's very smart but I returned it because it was a bit wide on the hips where the diagonal seam shaping joined the side seams. It was probably due to my body shape but I got the dreaded "jodhpurs" effect.

Had worn most of the day at work and thought great, really comfortable. But then a colleague pointed out that whilst the length was perfectly decent, the back split had risen in such a way it was almost indecent!!
