Sad to say it was unsuitable for me but a lovely dress.

Very long at back-tight on bust and arm holes-next size up too big

I returned this dress as it was much too big across the shoulder and neck and kept falling off my shoulders. The style is very pretty and a good quality material. Just a shame that it didn’t come in petite.

This is a beautiful dress and I was determined to own one however it was sold out as soon as it came in stock.I then ordered in store for when it was delivered into store but it never came. I then looked on line and it was out of stock in my size. I kept checking on line and this week a one size smaller than i usually have but in long was showing I decided to order it. Wow I tried it on in store when I collected it and it was a perfect fit.This dress is well designed made of lovely materials and looks elegant and stylish. Thank you M&S please up your game more often. I am a tall lady and a little older than Per Una. You deserve to come out of the doldrums,.also our new store i n St Helens is GREAT!!!!!!!

This is a lovey dress but I had to return it as it was too long. Much better for a taller person. Pit there was not a shorter option as with many M&S clothes.

I bought this for a wedding and the style is perfect. I normally take a 16, but the only one left at the time was a 14 which actually fits me like paper on the wall, except I need help zipping it up, normally I can manage. My dilemma is that it is a bit too long for my 5ft 3 and I don't know if it can be taken up successfully due to the frill. It will also need a jacket or a cardi, so am still deliberating whether to keep it or return it.

I ordered this dress in sizes 10 & 12 as one of these would usually fit but surprisingly neither fitted. As previous reviews stated it was quite a strange fit, tight across the back & chest but gaping under the arms, how is this even possible?! A lovely looking dress, nice material and lovely style but sadly I had to return both, such a shame.

I so wanted this dress to be 100% perfect: it's really lovely and feminine and a perfect occasion dress. It fit me perfectly (size 6)...almost. I'm 5ft 5 1/2 inches tall and very slim. Let's just say my bust isn't my best asset...so it was a tad gappy at the front. There are ways round this, I thought, with tape, but the only reason, very sadly, I didn't keep this dress was that it was a little too dark for me. I'm 65...and it washed me out somewhat.

Ordered this dress in 2 sizes, 12 & 14 as I hover between the two sizes. The 12 fits quite snuggly but I am keeping it as it was a far more flattering than the 14. I also thought this dress might be to 'frilly' for me but I actually love it.

I was looking for a dress for a June wedding, and running out of options. I ordered this as a last resort, not vey hopefully! I am 5 feet tall, and size 8, and expected this to be too long, and the neckline to be way too low. However, the fit is almost perfect for my size and height! It is more maxi length at the back, but not so long it drags on the ground. The neckline is fine, and sits well with no gaping. The faux wrap shaping is very flattering, and the fabric very floaty and pretty! I am thrilled with the dress, and look forward to wearing it. The only thing that I would warn others about is the sizing - pretty much perfect as a petite dress, but I imagine might be way too short (body length particularly) for anyone of average height!

A classic styled dress. Navy blue, a pleasant change from black. Lovely light material that sits and moves well. At 5'4" I bought the regular length which is perfect. Will look elegant with heels or wedge sandals for a special occasion. More classic styles like this please - well done M&S - perfect.

This is a pretty dress which would be perfect for a wedding or smart occasion, but unfortunately the sizing was all wrong for me. I am a size 6-8 so ordered both sizes in the regular length, but even the size 6 was too big for me - too wide on the shoulders, too low cut at the front, and too long overall (I am 5'3" and the back of the dress was almost touching my ankles). Very disappointing, but if you can find a size that fits it would be a lovely dress.

I am trying to decide whether to keep this dress as I am not sure if I can wear so much black. It is a lovely dress and I feel it is excellent for my height. I wanted it for a wedding. I am sad that M&S don't make occasion dresses.

The dress was too wide for me on the shoulders and also somewhat lower cut than I would normally wear. If the fit on the shoulders had been neater i would have kept the dress
