Polka Dot Midi Skater Dress

I bought this dress a size larger than I would have liked but was desperate to own it! But oh dear! it was far too large plus much longer than l wanted. Seemed more for a younger person. So disappointed.

I also purchased the black dress as well as this as undecided which I preferred. I have kept both as they are a good fit and look classy. The regular length is perfect (5.5) and the fit is a little generous but that is good as you room to move. All in all an excellent purchase. It would be useful when having regular and long lengths to choose from to know the length of the long garment.

So pleased with this dress, great fit and really comfortable to wear. I’m 8/10 depending on brand so ordered in 8 regular and is perfect. Good length too for me at 5,4” Bought when reduced as this seemed like a better price for it.

I bought this to wear on Christmas day and it's lovely, just right. Reason for 4 stars, is it's a little big and was worried if I return it the size smaller would not fit either.

I saw this but it had sold out. The next time I looked it was back in long, and on offer, so took a chance. I ordered 12 long and I’m a 12 tho like many I’ve put on a stone in lockdown so thought I’d have to lose it again first. I’m also apple shaped so thought id struggle to zip it up as there’s no stretch, but it zipped up with some wiggle room. The length is good on me too, sort of midaxi as they say. I’ve knocked off a star because of the sleeve length, as being tall (over 5 10), with there being no stretch, and with them being cuffed the sleeve can’t ride up my arm when I reach forward so it pulls across my back. Another 2 inches in the sleeve (this is the long length after all) would have fixed it. (M&S please employ proportionally tall fit models who can tell you this direct.) Like others have said the material is thin, and it was badly creased in the bag, but an iron and layers will sort that. I love the colour, a rich reddish plum, and that there’s a slight frill across the bottom; just enough to give movement without being in your face. So close to being an outright winner if only you’d pay attention to proportion in the longer lengths.

Beautiful dress. material lovely and falls beautifully. Lovely rich colour for summer or winter. Perfect all round dress for every occasion.

I bought this dress a week ago. It fits perfectly, it is true to size. I would highly recommend it.

well..loved the dress fitted great...but the sleeves had been put in back to front,,not good..i am a seamstress so not the best person to get such a faulty items....also arrived screwed up in the delivery bag not paperwork...m/s what is happening!!!!

Love the dress, style and pattern but can't understand why size 10 is too big! 30/40 years ago and a good stone lighter size 12 in M&S used to fit me, sometimes even a little tight in skirts n trousers... Size 8 got back in stock 2 days ago so collecting it on Saturday - will it fit??? I have kept the 10 which might need £17 spending on it to take it in so fingers crossed the 8 will b ok...

Returned immediately as way too long so it was a maxi dress on me which wasn’t what I wanted. Poor quality material too. Very disappointing.

I saw this in store but did not buy as I thought everyone would have it! It was on my mind when I went home so I ordered it online. I had to go up a size as the cuffs were very tight and the neck is a strange fit. I am 5'6 and bought a regular length but it is long, it comes down well below my calf. The material is thin, a slip needs to be worn underneath. It would be better if M&S lined their dresses. Still, the colour and style is lovely. I like to have dresses like this in my wardrobe for the autumn and winter.

I bought this online thinking it looked fabulous... how wrong was I . It was terrible on, unflattering, material crushed badly and ill fitting. I am 5ft 5 inches so ordered regular size 10 and it was about 3 inches from floor..I couldn’t return it fast enough.... the first time ever having to return to M&S

Liked this dress but it didn't look right on me. I am 5ft 3 " tall and it was way too long for me ( regular length) . If it had been shorter I would have kept it

Purchased the dress because it did not look like a work dress. Beautiful however it does come up a bit big. I simply took it in slightly at the waist to give it more shape as being slim and short I looked a bit swamped, now it is perfect.
