Polka Dot Midi Shirt Dress

Lovely summer dress good fit lovely material and good length and a great style.

not sure if I am reviewing size 20 or 22 but size 20 was just right and size 22 too big for me so have returned it

Really loved this dress but unfortunately it didn’t love me. I’m a little to podgy for the style, too much chocolate over lockdown. It was too tight across my chest and clung to my stomach, not a good look. But the material and pattern are lovely and it would look fantastic on someone slimmer than me.

Loved the style but the fit across the busy was so small I could not do the buttons up. Weight gain in lockdown not been that much!!

Perfect ,easy to wear summer dress - can be dressed up or worn casually. Good fit & length. Lightweight material.

I liked this dress other than the sleeves. It was fresh looking. Unfortunately it didn’t fit properly but that was me not the dress. I was unsure about the wide sleeves so returned it.

I love the style of this dress. Very easy and comfortable to wear. Lovely floaty fabric and the sleeves are very feminine. The sleeves are nice and loose under the arm without being baggy, and neatly cover the tops of arms and the sides of your bra without anything being too tight. It is quite see through but a half slip sorts that out. I agree with others who have commented that the waist is rather high but I wear it with a belt and I'm happy with that. In all, a very simple, easy to wear summer dress with lovely short sleeves which I much prefer to sleeveless.

I didn’t have a midi length dress so when I saw this polka dot dress, I knew I would love it. I always read the reviews and saw from a lady my size that it didn’t come up big. I am a size 12 but quite often have to have a size 10 in M&S clothes as they often come up big. However this dress is a perfect fit and the length just right for me. It is lovely and fresh looking and although I haven’t worn it yet, am looking forward to be able to go out again so that I can wear it. It is without doubt excellent value and I am sure, like M&S clothes generally, will wash well.

I bought this in a 6 (most shops I am an 8) and it fits perfectly. I have had so many compliments. I wear it with a black waist belt and it finishes the look. Material is lovely and light but not at all see through. Beautiful dress, more like this please M&S!

Annoyingly I bought this dress just as it was between sale prices, get it now whilst its on sale! As someone with a fairly small frame but large bust (32E) I normally have to size up for dresses so the buttons on the chest don't gape. I went for size 12 R (I'm 5 6") and it fits so well, no gaping of buttons and for once a dress of this style actually highlights my waist rather than being shapeless. The sleeves are delicate and feminine. I feel so nice in this dress.

I absolutely loved this dress BUT like another reviewer found the waistline on this dress was much too high for my own shape and have sadly sent it back. Tried another in a larger size thinking it would sit lower but no, and sent that back too.

This is a comfortable yet stylish dress to use as a base for your summer wardrobe. It looks great on, feels wonderful to wear. The fabric is very light & moves beautifully. Lovely on a hot day in the garden or park or dress it up for a day out.
