Polka Dot Drawstring Wide Leg Trousers

Really like these trousers but sizing has me stumped. Tried on a 12 in store and they were a little too tight, so ordered a 14 on line and they are even tighter, so had to return, shame as good price in sale.

Bought the 10 and 12 to compare as have put on a few pounds during Lockdown! . Had been looking for some polka dot trousers and seeing them in the sale was quite excited. Unfortunately the 10 felt really tight. The 12 sort of fitted but the "rise" seemed quite short so consequently the waistband sat below my waistline making the pockets bulge. Sadly both pairs returned. However the fabric and style were very good so quite disappointed.

These didn't work for me - they were longer than I had anticipated and the fabric was thicker and heavier than I was expecting. It was also impossible to see there was a raised line (possibly a seam line?) pressed down the front of the legs in the photos and I am not keen on this so will be returning unfortunately.

Unfortunately due to the gathering at the back and the viscose type fabric it creases up in such a way to give you a lumpy, bumpy bottom. The pocket on one side had been stitched incorrectly so it stuck out at an odd angle. The pattern looks more overpowering in real life and not as attractive as the online photos. The style is more suited for summer wear and you need to be tall and slim to suit them.

Am returning these, not suitable for me. Too big, too long.

Following the advice of the online reviews, I bought the short version of these trousers. Unfortunately this meant they were much too short in the body while still being way too long in the leg (I'm 5'5"). They were also quite tight on the waist but the legs were massively wide - much wider than they look in the online photos. I just can't imagine what shape/size of woman they were designed for, have returned them.

These are great trousers dressed up or down and bought in the sale.

Bought regular length as the short trousers I bought earlier were too short, these are way too long. Will be returning them.

Bought these in the sale. I’m glad I read the reviews as I ordered short length and they were perfect. I’m normally a 12 but as these had an elasticated wait I went for a size 10.
