I have bought quite a few of these over the years, but none compare to the original, it can easily be accidently knocked on in your handbag, which burns the motor out, and you need to take a screwdriver out with you in case you need to change the batteries, but always handy to have on holiday

I have bought M&S hand held fans for several years and the current design is the best yet. The previous model was a nightmare to fit new batteries and these are so easy in comparison. For those of us of a certain age, a fan like this is a godsend for those pesky flushes, winter as well as summer. Keep stocking them, M&S, by far the best product of its kind on the market and a good price too.

I’ve bought M&S handheld fans before and they have been invaluable for travelling, holidays and when it’s hot. I bought x 2 grey, sold out now, so bought the blue and coral, not my colours but who cares! Wish that they came in more classic colours. Super fans, easy to safely place in handbags. Recommend. Don’t give them up please M&S..

Very good value for money as it was bought in the sale. A useful thing to have and I'm looking forward to using it when we next have a 'heatwave'! Bought the grey colour, which is a lovely shade. It's also very compact.

Excellent fan my wife and I have bought a number of them over the years because it’s the only one that stands the test of time, considering the amount of use they get they really do stand up well, also with the built in stand very handy when dining out and the restaurant gets a bit hot you can open it’s stand and pop it at the side of your plate and bingo you have instant cooling affect.

Good little portable fan, much better than some of the others which have 2 blades. Only problem is if you want to change the battery you have to unscrew the back! So make sure you carry a small screw driver! Otherwise it would have got 5 stars.

Sturdy but lightweight. There is already a battery in the fan so it was good to be able to use it straightaway. To replace the battery though you will need a screwdriver . I love the colour and it is easy to hold

This fan is a great size to carry about. The only issue I had was when in my handbag the fins are soft so bend very easily, would recommend something to store it in. Still works ok though

Bought one of these fans for my daughter last year and it performed really well, so decided to invest in one plus a spare for myself this year. It has been the best £6 spent this Summer. It has kept me cool and is easily stored in your bag when not in use. Would definitely recommend.

I have bought 2 new fans to replace ones I gave to family in Miami last year as they loved them. The fans seem sturdy, operate for quite a long time, but the best feature is that they can also be placed on a table or desk and don't need to be hand held. Great little gadgets and ones which I have bought again!

I love this fan and have bought several for friends. Small and light enough to keep in your handbag and batteries last a long time. The stand is very useful when using your hands to style your hair etc!!! Bought another one recently in case, because of the hot weather, they ran out.
