I like this coat but it being a petite fit (I'm 5 2) its a bit short in the arm length for me apart from that its good quality and is ideal for Spring.

Loved the style and material of this coat but unfortunately the sleeves didn’t fit me very well at the shoulders. Too tight at top of arm. The regular size would probably have suited me rather than the petite.

I bought this open front coat/cardigan in petite and it fits great on sleeves & length. Colour grey is a light shade with black leather on cuffs and side pockets which make it look smarter than a cardigan. I bought this with my 20% discount and really chuffed with my new smart cover up for spring.

I was quite looking forward to receiving this coat but once I took it out of the packaging I was very disappointed. Shocking material, shocking finish, it felt like cardboard. I couldn't believe M&S would manufacture something like this. It went straight back.

Casual throw on

Unlined, lghtweight, comfortable 'throw on 'coatigan'. Stylish. Blue marl ideal for jeans. Not for cold weather, rather walking from the car to indoors or would be comfy around the shops. However not good quality, the fabric is like cheap underfelt and appears like it could easily pill. The front interfacing kept turning outwards at the bottom - I returned it and tried 2 more jackets but had the same issue. The dropped shoulders are strangely cut - tried a smaller jacket hoping the shoulder area might lie better but ìt was just the same so it must must be a baggy oversized cut. Of course the hip area then wouldn't then meet. It just doesnt work. A shame as the style had potential otherwise. Not recommended.

I have been looking for an edge to edge coat for the Spring and didn't hold out much hope as even petite are often too long in the arm. This is perfect love the colour and will match with pink. I am five foot and it reaches just above my knees. Saving for a holiday in York and hope to look quite stylish along with my new M and S leather handbag. Well done Marks you have lifted the winter gloom.

Disappointing fit for me. Returned. 5’1 size 12-14. I really liked the material and it was a good length. The sleeves too were the right length, but baggy across the bust and shoulders. I guess I prefer ‘normal fit’ sleeves rather than ‘off the shoulder’ sleeves.

This lightweight cardigan/coat is easy to wear and hangs really well. Glammed up with a nice scarf and boots, takes this from dowdy (on the hanger) to quite classy looking.

Ordered this coat in light grey last year, accidentally ordered petite, I’m 5’ 1 but don’t normally buy petite, it was a great fit so ordered this one in petite also and it’s even better, the pockets are in the right place, ( bit to the back on the grey one ) and has the leather edging which makes it seem a bit smarter, perfect length, perfect sleeve length, very happy with this coat / coatigan.

Looked good on paper but in reality definitely not coat quality. Thin material passable as a cardigan but shape poor. Disappointing

A really nice casual coat for Autumn days. Not lined but hangs well and grey is a good colour for matching other clothing. It’s good value for £35.

I love this coat, it is perfect for a quick trip to the supermarket or anywhere I won't be out too long in the rain! I can wear a thick jumper underneath and it is super comfortable for driving. The black trim makes it look really smart.

Purchased inPetite size 12 and sleeves were right length which I find is a problem with a lot coats & jumpers lately . It will serve its purpose for use when bulky coat not needed ...in the car and on a flight which is why I purchased it . Not so sure fabric won't bobble quickly but time and wear will tell . Prefer this style with contrast faux leather on pockets and sleeves . Purchased but not wild about it !
