Peacock Large Pendant Light

I had been searching for somewhere for a glass pendant light for a bedroom. My period house has low ceilings but the instructions said the cord could be shortened so I went ahead and ordered the larger version of this light fitting . The detail on the lampshade is very attractive and the weight of it suggests that its a sturdy fitting.The colour is grey as opposed to white but it makes for a very attractive look when illuminated. I had it installed by an electrician who commented that it was a very good light fitting. I am very pleased with how it looks in situ.

Elegant, restrained design. Very well made - plenty of detail in the glass design. Do spend on an attractive lightbulb too, as it’s highly visible. I live in a 1980s house, with 2.4m high ceilings: absolutely standard. I was concerned that the drop (which is adjustable) would leave me with either an intrusive light fitting or something so short that it looked ridiculous. Neither of those happened. It’s got style and personality but doesn’t look out of place in my home. It would equally have looked great in my last Victorian home. I bought the small fitting for my small study, the large one for my bedroom. Both look great and the smoked glass doesn’t give off “dirty” light. M&S have really got their MoJo (mojo?) back across clothing and homewares in the last two years and this design is clear evidence of that!

Beautiful lampshade,really heavy . Looks way more expensive

Looks lovely in my kitchen. Put daylight bulbs as would like bit more light while cooking.
