This was delivered last Saturday so obviously I can't comment on how it will last. But the table is lovely and very easy to extend with the leaf stored underneath securely. It feels really solid and the edges are properly finished unlike some cheaper options. It is heavy though so really needs two people to move it. The two guys unwrapped it and put it together then took the rubbish with them, that in itself is a reason to buy furniture from M&S because the box it arrived in was huge. I didn't replace my chairs but now after seeing how lovely the table is with a natural grain,I'm tempted with the matching chairs too.
