Love this lamp looks good and very well made.. would have given it 5 stars but in order to adjust the angle you have virtually unscrew the two parts and it’s a bit awkward

After reading the mixed reviews I decided to take the chance. Unfortunately the bad reviews were true. The lamp is heavy and has to be taken apart to adjust it. This requires three hands. (It is not a friction grip.) Furthermore, the screw thread of the adjustment knob rubs against the live flex. The most disappointing thing is that it comes without the most important component: the bulb. LED bulbs are not fragile like the old tungsten bulbs, so there is no reason why it shouldn't be included. M&S don't even sell a suitable bulb (I had to go to elsewhere for it). Also rather awkwardly the switch is some way down the flex and not on the lamp itself.

Not quite what I expected in terms of quality. Firstly there was no bulb included, there was room and it could have been well insulated to protect it during transit. Secondly the knob that allows to adjust the lamp was impossible to move without using a pair of pliers. It was also rough and poorly finished. All in all the Sale price was still to high for this item though I will not return it I am rather underwhelmed rather than delighted.

I returned the lamp. The connectors were poor so it’s nearly impossible to get the lamp stable and you can’t really adjust it. It looks adjustable but it isn’t.

Would have been 5* if positioning was easier. It was a challenge to set up and is not at all easy to reposition. However, having looked for several months for a desk lamp which gave the bright and wider illuminated area that I needed, I decided that the challenge of adjusting the lamp was a small price to pay.

Bought in half price sale. Looks good BUT moving the angle of lamp v difficult. After tussle got it to move to an angle I can live with for the life of the lamp
