Metallic Jersey Pleated Skirt

I’d been looking for a gold skirt for a while and this one is perfect. Lovely soft fabric (unlike Christmas’ stuff version). I went for the long length to go just below the knee - a bit more elegant. Perfect for Summer, but maybe also December for parties etc. Quality could be slightly better but you get what you pay for and this was a bargain! I’m very tempted to buy the silver version!

This is a really unusual stylish skirt. The regular length is horrible ( I am not tall). The long length is truly beautiful. . . great with white sneakers. No idea how it will wash. The quality looks average. . . not quite up to M and S finishing standards.

I, like others in these reviews, couldn’t get the skirt past my thighs as the waist isn’t elasticated. My hips are wider than my waist so how are you supposed to get it on?? I’m amazed at the reviews that say they love it. How did they get it on??

I wasn’t sure what size to order so ordered as I have previously.. a size down... only to find this was small or more so true to its size. I have re ordered in my ‘normal’ size .. I guess that’s the luxury of being near a clothes M&s ... but still .. it’s a fab funky skirt !!

Couldn't get the skirt over my hips. Normally a petite size 12 but this went nowhere near. Returned

Thought this would be easy to pack for holidays and when package arrived the skirt did come out almost crease free, but the sunray pleated style did not flatter me at all so had to return it.

Purchased my skirt a few weeks ago. Fits well as I opted for a longer length. Wore it with white t-shirt, black blazer and black patent wedge brogues. Accessorised with large gold hoop earrings and medium sized bag. I’m planning to wear it this weekend with a leopard print organza blouse with large bow, accessorised with strappy mid healed sandals and black clutch bag and yet again a large pair of black earrings. Versatile wardrobe piece. Wear it all year round. Day or night. But I must admit, I love a bit of day time bling!!

This was a really lovely colour skirt. Unfortunately the style was not for me so returned.

Love this skirt so much have purchased in silver, fabric is soft & delicate and actually having no sewn hem gives it a seamless flow with the inside soft on the skin, dress it up or down, great buy for the summer.

I saw this skirt online and thought it would work for me. When it arrived, the gold colouring looked good on my colouring and fit as expected (I ordered the long). But then I took a closer look and realised that the hem was raw (no stitching or hem - just cut to length). Also the backing of the skirt was made from a jersey fabric. I was worried that the gold colouring of the skirt would probably wear off within a short time, or wash off in the washing machine! Although the skirt wasn't expensive, I decided to return it.

Absolutely love this skirt, the fabric is good quality, the colour is lovely without being brassy and the fit is great too. Looks great with a T-shirt, trainers and a biker or denim jacket or equally with heels and a cami.
