Excellent design with neat,easy spatula/lid clamp. Perfect size for 4-6 portions. Great way to reliably microwave rice or grains without having to regularly check saucepan etc. when using hob and whilst entertaining.

I've used this, and it's helpful if you don't have a stove or the ability to cook correctly, but it doesn't beat the traditional way of cooking rice. I would use this occasionally if I felt lazy, but it won't become a staple in my daily cooking. I tried to cook oats in this. They were claggy; also, cooking oats on a stove is quicker and produces a better and more appealing outcome.

Great as it cooks white rice perfectly but the brown rice not so good. Thought it was a bit of a gadget but generally pleased with the results.

Thought cooking rice was easy ? Well this cooks the best rice ever. Instructions for rice to water ratio, never fails. Into the microwave & perfect rice of any type. With the rice paddle acting as a lid closure & a convenient measuring cup it couldn’t be easier . Well worth buying

I already own this item but bought another one for my son who has moved into his own place. So easy to use, works well every time as long as you rinse the rice before cooking and follow the cooking instructions. Easy to store and it can go in the dishwasher for cleaning.

haven't used it yet but good, strong and sturdy. Good quality. Had my eye on this for a while so bought it when it was discounted. Looking forward to using it soon. It is not as big as I was hoping it would be as my previous rice cooker was much larger bought from Ideal Home Exhibition over 30 years ago.

I can cook reasonably well. However, rice I have never been able to master. Ive tried every recipe around, with little improvement. This rice cooker is easy, efficient and produces perfect rice every time. Nobody needs to know that I didn't make it myself! It's possibly my favourite kitchen accessory!
