Linen Rich Lace Insert Strappy Midi Shift Dress

Didn’t like the fit or material design on me. A bit loose on the body so had to return and didn’t reorder smaller size as wasn’t keen on design.

I bought this dress for my Grandaughter who lives in San Diego. I frequently buy for her from M&S because of the style, price and quality. She is always thrilled with her clothes I buy for her from home and gets many compliments on the style and quality.

A lovely dress for the price. Fits well, comes in standard and petite length. Love the colours and fabric which will be cool to wear. Really good to see M&S with own brand stylish options.

Really lovely and flattering sundress. Lovely soft blue colour and just the right length. However I did return, only because I spotted a similar style with pockets and wider shoulder straps, that I preferred a little more. Apart from that it was a nice fit, but I did have to size up as I found the cut quite small. X

I happened to see this dress in store, as I was leaving, post weekly food shop. There were only about 4 hanging on the rail, but one was in my usual size 14. Unfortunately, it was regular length, which I knew would be down to my ankles ( I'm 5'6") , but thought I might get away with that, given that it was a sun dress. I also had a Sparks 20% off dresses, so nothing to lose! However, when trying the dress on at home, I felt really swamped with all the material in the long skirt, and wished it could have been shorter. I then looked the dress up on line, and found that it also came in petite. Unfortunately, at that point, it was out of stock. A week later, I noticed it was available again, so re- ordered, just before my Sparks offer ended. When the petite dress arrived, I was so disappointed as I could hardly get into it, and the bodice was so tight, that it was far too uncomfortable to wear. I did like the length though. Unsure as to whether this was wrongly sized, or whether I needed to go up a size, I decided to have one last try. I ordered a 16 petite, which I honestly expected would be far too big. To my surprise, it was a perfect fit! I'm delighted. I love the bodice and the fact that the shoulder straps are wider, plus the dress has pockets! Even as a lady"above a certain age", I can quite happily wear this dress. Only downside - I lost out on my Sparks discount 😥

Purchased for an upcoming holiday. Originally purchased standard length in store as my size sold out on line and didn't want to miss the 20% offer. Luckily the petite became available so I ordered that for comparison. Petite fits perfectly, lovely fit on the bodice and length much better so returned the standard. Its a lovely dress good quality material and finish. Not over big so order your usual size. Added bonus - it's got pockets
