Lightweight Down & Feather Gilet

I love the feather and down on M@S however having purchased both the jacket and now the gilet i found i had to upsize on both items. The quality is very good with a light weight which is ideal to use on a cooler morning but folds to nothing with no weight if you have to carry later if it gets warmer.

Well designed with inside pocket for valuables. Not chunky so will be easy to wear under a coat for an extra layer. Enclosed hood, just in case you get caught out in a shower.

I wanted to buy this in three different colour ways as I find a gilet so useful. But it was such a disappointment that the fit is so odd - wide at the chest/shoulders even though I am broader than the average woman, and it's far too short at the front. Perhaps if you are very slim the length being a bit short wouldn't matter as much but in a bigger size the length needs to be greater or the look is far too square and deeply unattractive. So had to return them.

I bought a blue one in November and love it , it’s so warm and so lightweight. When I saw this one in the sale and my size I couldn’t order it fast enough. I’ll be warm the rest of winter.

the fit was poor it was small on the shoulders and too large in the torso which gave an unflattering silhouette - michelin man! probably fine in a smaller size it was a 24 but not scaled up properly.

I brought this red down filled gillet in the sale making it a very good bargain !! I have the down jacket in pale pink and they are so lovely and light to wear also very warm . The red gillet looks lovey with a black jumper underneath and black smart trousers with loafer shoes . I would have liked to get it in the bright green but it had sold out .I am going to Australia and three weeks time and it will be very handy to wear on the plane ...

i would say it was a little on the small size though nice and warm

I like the (Green) Gilet as it’s so versatile to wear with blouses or jumpers, etc, whatever the weather. Made in a classic style, the Gilet feels warm when worn, and fits well under jackets and coats.

I have these gilets in various colours, as I am so pleased with them They are so comfortable to wear & so light to wear inside or out. Ideal for packing for holidays where at night you may need that extra warmth without be cumbersome. They pack away into a small area yet spring back without detriment. Excellent product.

I loved wearing this gilet but sadly now find I need to own a tumble drier and some tennis balls in order to care for it!

I bought this to supplement my insulation when working outdoors but leaving me with more arm movement. It is a little high at the neck, but that's just personal preference.

I'm very pleased with this purchase, but rather alarmed that the washing instructions tell me to tumble dry it with "several tennis balls" - really? how do I know which tennis balls will be OK in my dryer? As my gilet is petal pink, I guess it will need to be washed quite soon, so I don't know what to do.

I really like this but shortly after I bought it I found a fuchsia pink jacket I like even more. Sadly returning the gilet.

Love the colours available, will definitely buy another. Handy to wear & pack for a weekend break away. X
