Good jacket

Love this jacket. Wanted something a bit longer than a short jacket so this is ideal. Got it in sale as well so bonus all round. It does come up a bit big. I'm a 14. Probably 12 would have been ok but it looks fine.

Very thin and lightweight quilted coat, no lining. Just wouldn't think it would keep you very warm.

Sadly had to return

Lovely finish, nice panelling but very long in the sleeve and a rather shapeless fit around the body (I think this is possibly due to my short body - the waist of the jacket hit me on my hips) so I had to return but certainly worth a try as its a nice well made coat

Flattering

First off, I'm not a quilted/puffer coat kind of girl, I normally favour a more tailored style of coat. However, this coat from M&S is fabulous. It is so flattering on it is ever so slightly fitted and gives a lovely feminine shape. Although quilted it is incredibly light weight and doesnt add any bulk whatsoever. It is warm enough for cold winter days and is surprisingly water resistant. The one and only downside is the feathers which eke out of it, which is annoying if you are wearing black. However, it wasnt enough to put me off buying the exact same coat on the oyster colour

Brilliant coat. Not too bulky, very light for packing but very warm too. Cannot believe the warmth of this coat for how light it is. Bought the Oyster colour and its lovely. Would highly recommend - so happy with my purchase.

Fantastic Winter Coat

I love this coat, it is light weight but warm and a very flattering fit, as not bulky. I wore it in the evenings on a skiing holiday to Colorado and was pleasantly surprised as it was lovely and warm (all I wore underneath was a t-shirt and hoody) Also very waterproof, the rain/snow just falls off. I do agree with other reviews that the feathers come out and it is difficult to pull them back through. N Before Xmas M&S had these coats in various colours, I actually bought the black one, but after my holiday I wanted to buy in another colour, so disappointed that only options now is black or oyster. Hopefully M&S will bring out in other colours for next Xmas!

Disappointed

The colour Is more of a milky coffee shade rather than oyster so darker than I expected I also think It's a tad overpriced for the quality, ok for a nice spring day but I wouldn't wear It on a cold day as I don't think It would accommodate a thicker jumper underneath...also would have looked better If the hood had been detachable.

The main problem was the zip. Why does it need two zips? when trying to pull up zip it was difficult to "latch on", seemed as if tag was kinked. When zip was eventually zipped up second zip wouldn't move so what is the point of it?

Love this coat light in weight perfect fit and lovely royal blue colour just two problems hood on large side not a big issue my main gripe is that the feathers come out instructions on label state not to pull the out but to pull back in through lining an impossible task saying that I have kept it just hope not to many feathers come and I loose the warmth of the coat perhaps M@S could have a word with their manufacturers with this issue

Bought the blue one and expected it to be very warm but light. Very disappointed as as only warm as wearing a good cardigan. Pricey for what I got as could have bought better for less. Wish I had returned it.

I bought the coat in blue in the sale and am delighted with my purchase. The colour is lovely and the coat fits perfectly. It is moderately warm but may not be sufficient if temperatures head towards zero.

I really liked this coat, beautiful colour, lightweight but warm. I had to sendit back though because the zip was impossible. After many times of trying I only got it zipped once. Not worth that hassle.

I Dislike coats immensely, however this coat is so light it doesn’t feel like a coat but it’s still nice and snug. Just wish M & S would make another without the hood.

We are going to the Med in February and I want a lightweight, showerproof coat for the unpredictable weather, but not a heavy bulky coat that I would wear in English winter. This fits the bill perfectly. Ideal for travelling and cool evenings.
