Light control knickers

I have purchased quite a few pairs of “control” knickers from M & S in the past and these have been far the best. Easy to put on and no struggle pulling them up! They are lovely and soft and extremely comfortable.

Disappointing

I love the fabric and shape but after only a few washes the front panelling comes away from the mesh. I am assuming that the glue is inferior. I look after my clothing and always wash at low temperature, quick wash inside a laundry bag for protection so this is very disappointing. I have bought several pairs of them but all end up the same way. I am now looking for another style.

I've worn these a handful of times only for seams to total split and come apart so they're now useful. What an utter waste of money, such a bad design. I expected more from M&S

I have just bought 2 pair of these to add to the 4 pair I bought a couple of years ago. they are comfortable and light weight but smooth my curves.

These light control pants are very lightweight and reasonably comfortable but I prefer something a little stronger but not too heavy. I always choose lingerie without lace if possible as lace trimmed garments look shabby quickly. These are not trimmed with lace fortunately.

Not the Quality I would expect from M&S

I was very happy with these nickers until I washed them and like other reviews both pairs come unstuck. Total waste of £30.00. I will think twice again before looking for underwear in M&S.

glued together!!

I like everything about these cool control knickers APART from the fact that the mesh is glued on the front, and despite careful washing I have found that several pairs have come apart. I have resorted to sewing the panels back on myself, and so far so good. Poor design, in my opinion.

These are very comfortable, breathable, and easy to wear under any garments. Find them expensive so can only afford one at a time.

I purchased this in black in store. Very attractive and comfortable control knickers. Sadly after careful washing the panels started to come away from the fabric and eventually split. They are now in the bin! What a waste of my time and money. So fine, if you want to wear these as disposable knickers. I shall now look elsewhere.

Great fit

I have that extra tyre around my middle that suddenly makes an appearance out of nowhere during your 50s and these support pants have worked really well. Sits comfortably on my waist without rolling down, gives enough light control so as not to squeeze your middle too tightly after a big meal and the fabric feels great. So I will be making another purchase.

Shame about the panels

These are the best fitting and most comfortable knickers. Shame about the panels disintegrating after a couple of months wear. If they were plain, ie made without the panels at all, they would be perfect.

These knickers are comfortable, everyday wear and feel smooth under my clothes. I bought several pairs. At the 2nd wear every pair has split as if they are just glued and not sewn. It’s very poor workmanship and I do not recommend them.

Poor quality. They came unglued at second wearing. would not recommend. If only I’d read other reviews before purchase.

So disappointing. Nice nickers with good fit. But like others have reported these knickers fell apart after careful washing. The strips of fabric on the front come away from the mesh - the glue does not last. This is a design fault and reading other reviews I am not the first to report this which leaves me wondering why M&S hasn't acted yet.. It is clear that the manufacturing process is sub optimal.

Such a shame Marks and Spencer

I had to take two pairs of these knickers back to store today. I had the same problem as others have mentioned. They come apart where the banding meets the mesh. Such as shame as the knickers are really comfortable and a good fit. They are not fit for purpose and Marks and Spencer should withdraw them or improve them. I cant quite buy M and S under wear with the same confidence now.

fell apart!

I have bought several pairs of these at £15 each and really like the fit. I have had them for several months but three pairs have now fallen apart. The fabric 'strips' on the front have come away from the 'mesh' backing on two pairs and a third pair has completely ripped. This isn't what I'd expect from M&S and certainly not given the £15 price tag!
