Good material and stitching, but even when closed with the one central fastening the rest of the top gaps open, so it's an invitation to thieves becuase someone can get their hand in. Would never dare use this in a busy place like the tube, and even elsewhere it feels unsafe. Come on M&S - surely you can design a bag that looks good and isn't an open invitation to thieves!

Lovely soft leather and great shape. Colour close to a dark brown rather than burgundy, and great for winter. Only improvement I can suggest would be more divisions in the bag.

Good quality and light. Room for lots of things so great for a day out. Nice leather and colour. Colour is described as ‘Bordeau’ but I would call it ‘chocolate’ as it is dark brown rather than wine-coloured.

Total design flaw

This bag has a serious design flaw which is that the studs used to connect the strap come loose, meaning that the bag literally just constantly falls off your arm. The bag fall off my arm as I was walking down the middle of the road. It's unusable and I had to return it as the straps were endlessly coming out of the studs. M&S really needs to recall this bag.

This is a beautiful bag especially the colour, i saw it first in Leeds and hesitated about buying it but when I had an offer via their app for 20% off bags decided to purchase it. The colour really makes it, the bag is not too large but big enough to hold everything you would need. The quality of the leather is good as well, a lovely bag and am glad I bought it would go with most outfits

It’s a well made bag, but larger than I thought it would be and yellowish green, rather than the pale green of the picture, I returned it as I thought I was unlikely to use it because of size and that I had very few clothes it would compliment
