Lovely comfy shoes but faded

I bought these sandals for the summer. As others have said, they are big (had to go down 1/2 a size) and the ankle strap is a bit short although if you get it sat right, it isn’t so tight. I have them in the coral colour and I have marked them down as the colour faded to a lighter coral. You can clearly see this if you look at the strap under where is crosses over, because of this, I would recommend them in black or white

Stylish, but poor quality shoes

I loved these sandals! I waited ages to get them and was so happy when i saw them in the sale. However, after wearing them once the leather on the ankle strap gave and also expanded which made it loose and difficult to buckle up. I have used super glue which done the job for 1 more wear. I love these and I will continue to wear them regardless as they look so good on! But just wish it would cost less as the quality is not worth the money.

The sandals are lovely but I have very narrow feet and they didn't fit at all well

I like the look of these sandals, but they are a bit floppy to walk in. I was hoping for a soft comfy inner sole but although it is comfy it’s not that nice soft spongy feel. I really don’t think these are worth the money.

I loved the look of these sandals and they are well made but unfortunately the size 3 was a little too big. Such a shame as I'd have loved to have bought them.

I'm struggling with M&S shoes and sandals at the moment. I'd been coveting these sandals for a while and when they appeared in the sale I thought fantastic. Sadly when they arrived they were far too wide! I don't have a narrow fit. Very much a standard D fitting but these were so wide that I couldn't secure them properly and my feet slid around in them. Sadly, I couldn't adjust them either as the buckle across the toe is only for show and doesn't actually open. If it did I could have tightened them. So disappointed because they look lovely and the leather is good quality. This isn't the first time I've had this problem. M&S do wide fitting shoes for people with wider feet so PLEASE do the same for those of us with a narrower foot. A regular D fitting should be just that. Sadly I've just returned these.

These sandals are so comfortable, I've worn them every day since I bought them! They go with all my summer outfits and I've had lots of compliments. They fit really well, I love the cushioned sole. I've had no rubbing at all which is unusual I find. I would really recommend these sandals.

After seeing all the reviews online for these sandals I figured I had to give them a go and I’m so pleased I did! I bought them in orange and I LOVE THEM! I have had them a week now and every time I wear them I get a compliment about them. They are really comfy, yes they have a little creak to them (see other reviews) but it’s only noticeable when it’s silent. You also do need to go down size wise, I usually take a 5 and I’ve got a 4 and they fit a treat and can see them lasting a long time. I would highly recommend.

I love my sandals. Good quality. Only thing the ankle straps seem slightly short and I have thin ankles so I do not know how someone with thick ankles would be able to buckle them. Otherwise all fine.

Very comfy and good looking flat sandal. The tan colour matches various bags that I have. I like the strap round the ankle

I have coveted these sandals for the last few months since they came out in store. I read a few of the reviews which said they could be quite big so went with an 8 as I have wide feet. I think I had a dodgy pair as they were huge yet the ankle strap was so tight I could just get to the first notch (I have skinny ankles so this is unusual for things to be tight around them) I reordered the 7 1/2 which was a much better fit but again had tight ankle straps so had to order a 3rd pair. The 3rd pair fitted better, still slightly tight on the strap but will give with wear as they are leather. Nice fit across the foot and cushioned sole means they don't jar when walking like some flats can. They look very smart too and I have seen quite a few other ladies wearing them around town. Very pleased with them

My ‘go to’ sandals ‘18

I have been searching for a pair of sandals for work, smart but casual ‘ish’. Bought a couple of tan sandals this year but not sturdy enough, for my work day, didn’t think of looking in M&S but saw this pair in my search engine. Ordered two tan pairs for size (5.5 & 6) from the reviews, before I collected I tried the orange pair in store, loved them but loved the tan pair even more! Bought the size 6. I wear them constantly (no squeaking) and am thinking of going back for the orange colour just to give my current ones a break!! Love the style and they make my feet look very neat.

Brassy buckle

I was really looking forward to these sandals arriving and after reading other reviews, was glad I ordered the half size smaller, but when they arrived I was so disappointed. The brass buckle made the otherwise elegant sandals look cheap and the ankle strap buckle sat right on my bone which left a mark just with trying on. The footbed felt comfortable but Sadly I had to return them.

Bought ivory and orange sandals. I had read previous reviews so bought half a size smaller in orange, perfect fit. Had to buy usual size in ivory as nothing smaller available. Ivory pair was large so my feet slide around causing blisters, compeed helped there. Loved the sandalsapart from that, orange pair look great with cropped linen striped trousers in navy and cream.

These sandals are a nice style but I found them to be too big so had to go down a size. It's a shame you cannot adjust the buckle on them as they do feel a bit lose. They are a strange looking leather, not sure the description is right.

A crucial sandal of the summer! (but they're wide)
Originally posted on marksandspencer.com (UK)

If you normally take a wide fit in M & S, BUY THESE SANDALS. They are a rare time M&S makes something really stylish in a wider fitting - because they don't realise they ARE wide! I normally take a 6 wide-fit and nearly didn't try these cos they are supposedly normal fit - but they are perfect for me. If you have normal feet these will probably be too sloppy cos they are not adjustable. They are very, very comfortable and good to walk in. If you have big fat ankles the strap may be a bit short - but if you have fat ankles you don't wanna wear an ankle strap style anyway. If you have bunions these sandals will hide 'em - perfect! I got orange- a flattering, great colour. Other colours also looked good. Mine don't squeak at all. Surely one of THE sandals of the summer!

Comfortable yet stylish. Nice wide fitting sandals which suit my foot shape. I purchased them in the tan colour which works well with most colours.
