I bought some of these a couple of years ago, they were lovely. This new version of patent looks so cheap and nasty, not sure what they’ve done to them.

Added suede heel grips because they were slobbing as I walked. They are now a comfortable fit. Would recommend. They look stylish and very nice.

Comfortable shoes, but I feel they run large. (see photo) I ordered my usual 7, which is what I normally buy in all brands, but I should have ordered a 6.5. As you can see in the photo, a size 7 Hotter brogue is about a half inch shorter than the M&S size 7 brogues.

I wanted a flat pair of shoes in black and these fitted the bill perfectly. I'm usually a size 6/6.5 but I went up a size to 7 so I could wear thicker tights. I had to walk some distance on the icy pavement and the grip was great.

Lovely shoes, good quality but large fitting & quite wide. Shame M&S have stopped the half sizes as I am a normal size 6, but M&S sizing shows I am 5.5, which normally fit perfectly

I bought a pair of M&S ladies brogues several years ago and loved them but they are now worn out. So I was very pleased to see these on the website and bought them straight away. They are not leather but are good fit and very comfortable. They look great with jeans but also very smart with a dress.
