Leather Brogue Boots

This is an fantastic and stylish pair of welted boots for the price. Very comfortable out of the box (if slightly roomy but the product information does warn about this). I have worn them for a few days and they seem very sturdy so hopefully they will last for years. The quality is not quite the same as you would get from a pair of handmade welted boots from an English shoemaker - the difference is in the quality of the upper leather but the quality is nonetheless very high. And then there's the fact that you're paying around half the price - but these boots feel like they're worth more than you'll pay for them (the same can be said for the whole of the more expensive M&S shoes which tend to offer fantastic value). If like me, you have purchased these as a weekend boot for casual/smart casual wear they are fantastic value.

I am more than happy with the style, quality and fit of these boots. As half sizes are not offered on this range I was a little uncertain about which size to order, as I am a usually an 8.5. I took the website advice about these boots fitting a little larger than one would think, chose an 8 and I am delighted with the fit. A 9 would have been quite a bit too big for me. After three days of daily wear the boots have 'bedded in' nicely and I wouldn't hesitate to buy this product again or to recommend it to others.

These are a fantastic, FANTASTIC pair of boots, excellent value, excellent fit, If M&S had made these also in a pure black option, I would now own two pairs, instead of only one! I would also like to see a gusset style boot in this range, as that too would be brilliant!

About 12 months back M&S did a similiar product however they dicontiuned the range. I was dissapointed as I had a pair in black and wanted a pair in brown. I recently seen this product and made the purchase, I have to say they are every bit as good as the discintinued product with the added advantage that the leather is a little softer and are comfortable straight from the box. Size is prety much bang on and consistent with other autograph shoes / boots. Quality; trust me these boots are made to near enough the same standard as jefrey west and cost quite a bit less. In a nutshell a pair of smart boots that will look equally as good with a pair of jeans as they do with a suit, and should last a long time.
