Bought these for the garden for my daughter’s 18th birthday party - loved the crackled effect bulbs and the timer function (will be handy at Christmas) We bought more sets for the stairs and landing and they were lovely. Batteries lasted ages on the timer function.

Fairly large lights encased in plastic bulbs. If one should break or stop working, cannot disconnect from the string of other bulbs, nor can the faulty bulb be accessed to repair. Plastic on bulb is rather flimsy (eg. soft) but otherwise nice bulbs

Nice lights I have them in my conservatory and they look great. The cable length from the first bulb to the plug is really long too particularly if you are putting them up outside.

Very disappointing on many counts. They are basically just cheap plastic lights from you know where!. According to the instructions, the bulbs cannot be replaced individually and the whole unit should be binned when they start to fail or sustain damage. The transformer has to be located indoors out of the elements so they are not really suitable for permanent outdoor use. They are NOT solar powered as per part of online description, they are mains. They are just throwaway and hence not sustainable in any sense of the word. Avoid..

Product information is misleading. Power source is given as solar under one heading and mains in another so I wasn't sure quite what I would receive! I ordered them knowing I would be able to use them in either form. For clarification, these are MAINS operated, not solar! That said, I am really pleased with them, they are large so make a real impact, look very industrial if that is your style and give a lovely glow. It is useful to be able to extend them too.
