Lace Sheath Short Sleeve Bodycon Midi Dress

This dress was excellent value because I bought it in the sale. The bodycon lining was a little baggy even in the size 6 but I do find that your sizing is extremely generous which is why I buy hardly anything in M and S. The lace sheath just hung and created a bulge effect at the back, poking out away from the fitted lining and the width of the hips made me look as if I was wearing riding jodhpurs underneath. The woman in front of me at the returns desk was bringing back two of these dresses so I think that says it all.....

Loved this dress but it was a bit on the long side. I wasn’t sure if it could be altered because of the lace but my dressmaker assures me she can alter it. I wish M& S would do more short styles for us petite folk

This dress looks amazing on and can’t say anything else but - Wow! ps give the side seams a press for an overall better finish

Got this for a wedding, both clasps at top of dress came off at wedding,plus underskirt all twisted when i put it on, Not happy with purchase.

This dress is classy and well made. It looks quite expensive. Other people have mentioned sizing, I ordered a size 14 and a size 16, just in case. I usually wear 12 in jeans and trousers and 14 in tops. The 14 is fine but well fitting, if I put on any weight, I could be in trouble!

Beautiful dress, material is good quality however a bit snug. I had to go a size up. Classic cut and perfect for a special occasion.

Lovely dress, ordered on line as they never had my size, took it home to try, it fitted but at the bottom security tag plus a rip looks like someone tried to rip the tag off. Apart from that good quality dress.

I really liked this dress but unfortunately could not get it in my size in petite. I tried on a size 12 standard length in store which was not too bad a fit but it had a hole in it so store ordered another one for me. I was so disappointed as it was tighter than the one I had tried on in store and the waist which was sitting on my hips was really tight and looked like the bodice was too long. I was so upset as had to return it but really loved the dress as the quality was very good and looked expensive and classy.

What a beautiful dress true to size so comfortable and flattering on figure. Received so many compliments when wearing and felt wonderful in it. Super stylish & very on trend. The only flaw was the catch at the top of the dress it is very flimsy and kept coming loose off the catch which was slightly annoying. Better quality catch required so it stays on.

After much thought I bought this dress for my son's wedding evening party, it was much admired. I am only 4'11" and a size 6/8, I bought a size eight it was very comfortable. The day was extremely hot and the evening also, but the dress was cooling, it didn't cling and unlike some comments it didn't take much adjusting if you 'step' into it, my husband had to help with the zip. If you need a smart dress for any occasion, this is definitely the one to buy.

Very comfortable and can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion. Good value for money.
