Bought as a gift for my 101 year old aunt who still loves being in her acre of garden most days of the year. Looking for a robust kneeler/seat and this fits the bill perfectly. It won't topple and is sturdy when she needs to put weight on it.

I love gardening, but getting down to weed has become difficult. The kneeler seat is just what I need. I look forward to using it in summer 2019.

Very pleased, this was bought for my daughter who is very pleased with it. My mother bought one for me from M&S years ago and I've been so pleased with mine that's why I have carried on the tradition and given one to my daughter!

Robust, well made and fit for purpose. Not cheap but one of the best kneelers I have found.

This is the second garden kneeler I have purchased from you. They are strong and so easy to use in the garden, green house or home. I am 5’ 2” and when using as a kneeler it is just the right height from the ground. I am disabled and without this kneeler I would not be able to garden!

I bought one of these several years ago in a post Christmas sale, and am still using it regularly more as a comfortable kneeler than a seat. It is still in very good order, apart from the coiled spring mechanism for collapsing it which is very rusty, and I avoid for fear of injury. The 20% off offer tempted me to buy an extra one as I noticed that the springs on the new model are painted - hopefully to prevent the rust problem. As there appears to be no other design difference, I assume that others like me who have several fairly large flowerbeds find it more comfortable than damp grass or paving when dealing with the inevitable weeds, and useful to turn over and sit in odd parts of the garden, contemplating what still hs to be done from a new perspective. I like the soft green colour, although the old brown one is actually easier to spot if you forget where you left it!

Not fit for purpose - dangerous!

This kneeler looks great however it has caused severe cuts and bruises to both my shins. Using it as it should be, I was kneeling on the padded area and it dropped in on itself. The pad came out of the recessed area. Both of my shins were cut and are also now black blue. I strongly suggest M&S remove this item from sale.

Collected this item today. Item appears to be quite robust but the distance from the ground to the top surface of seat is only 35cms/13 3/4 inches. Therefore not really suitable for me with a height of 183cms 6ft which would require this dimension to be around 50cms/20 inches. Will have to return it.
