My son already has a pair of branded sports sliders that he uses for football. The M&S version look very similar and he prefers then due to Velcro which allows you to add the width of the sliders. Very reasonably priced

They’re fine. Had a bit of a problem with the right size. They are also a bit smelly, but I guess it will be gone with time.
