Good for afos

These are great over my son's afos. They are slim and the laces are sewed, I however cut these out and replaced them so I could adjust the width to fit my son perfectly, I used elastic laces and took out the insole. Super easy to put on and off using the zips now they're the perfect size.

Nice shoes but zip not working, keep coming down when walking

Brilliant show just one downside

Brilliant shoe for the adaptive range, my son wears them with splints for school , the zips make it quick and easy to put the shoes on and zip up, the only issue is the zips are constantly falling down. And need something to connect the zips to at the top to stay up. Other than that brilliant shoe

Great shoes

I have to buy these kinds of shoes for my son, who has special needs. It is really difficult to find ones with zips, as without zips these types of shoes are really hard to put on. Then in summer, nowhere stocks high tops. So it is a big relief that M and S does them for a reasonable price. These are firm enough to give ankle support and look smart, we have the black ones which will make good school shoes.

My son has Cerebral Palsy and it is difficult to buy shoes that his feet can comfortably fit into. These are great as there is a zip each side.

Nice shoe but too small for use with wedges.

The shoe looked very smart and fitted well. Solid price. Unfortunately, we bought this style of shoe under the suggestion of our child's Community Team for a specific purpose. We needed shoes that work with foot/heel wedges. Unfortunately, there is not enough space for the foot with wedges being used. It left their feet very sore with red marks (that appeared relatively quickly) that wouldn't disappear easily. M&S do offer a lot of specific items that other High Street brands to not for children with complex/specific needs e.g. PEG tube feeding shirts. This we applaud and are thankful for. However, in this instance, the shoes did not work out. Perhaps this could be avoided or at least alleviated if different widths were available for each size; the ability to have feet measured in store; and/or more information regarding dimensions i.e. not just shoe length.

Great shoe for orthotics but needs removable insol

I'm really happy M&S make an adaptive shoe like this - it fits my daughter's brace (AFO, no hinge). However the fit would be better if the insoles were easily removable!

I bought these shoes as my daughter wears a leg splint and she has never been able to wear anything fashionable in her 25 years of wearing shoes, these are perfect

My son has dyspraxia and these trainers are perfect for him. They still look cool, but they are adaptive. Only issue is that sometimes the zips come down. Otherwise, we love them.

Well priced good quality shoes that are also disability friendly. My son wears special leg/foot supports called AFO’s and these fit over the top. Thank you M&S for creating some inclusive clothing and shoes that are affordable.
