Hoxton Pendant Light

Spotted on Instagram and decided to order the Hoxton pendant light 3 required for kitchen extension. First order received contained one glass shade no fittings at all, another had a scratch to the glass, large bubble marks on glass . In total 8 lights ordered all questionable quality. Reported to M & S customer service twice no explanation v poor just refer to another department.Have reordered still waiting for a perfect set

Bought for our conservatory. Stylish & great value for money

Although I like the item I feel it has been a return. This is because the head of the plastic screw which secured the cable was damaged so much so it could be released. Because of the item always being out of stock we decided to rectify this ourselves by drilling out the screw. We will have to improvise now. Also the tissue wrapping paper was torn and crumpled as though it had been re wrapped and there was extra tape in the box

I had to return the 1st light after it had been fitted by the electrician as part of other works as there were 3 faults that became apparent. There is a plastic screw holding the flex to adjust the length. This was broken so the flex had to be at the full length. The bulb holder was wonky so the light looked wrong against the flex. Then when I washed the glass shade, there were obvious bubbles in the glass. The staff helped me to return in store and re-ordered for the next day to be delivered to store. I opened in store and inspected and it was fine. My husband fortunately fitted and it looks great. Need more quality control. I would have been stuck if had to pay again for fitting.

I love this light and it was easy for my husband to shorten and fit. I have it in my hall and it provides great light. However there are a couple of scrapes on the glass and a few blemishes also. I didn't return as got this when 20% off. It is a lovely light and much cheaper in M&S than others I have looked at.

I ordered the antique brass pendant light and it was ready to collect a day earlier than expected, which I was happy about. In addition, the item was well packed and in perfect condition. It looks strong and it seems to be a very good quality item. Our electrician has now installed it and it works perfectly. Even if the screw in the fitting is not quite straight, meaning that the light bulb does not go in completely straight, I am happy with the product and M&S's service on this occasion.

These lights are great value and look amazing! They were really easy to install and it was really simple to adjust the cable length. Really impressed!

Bought 4 of these lights, not the easiest to install. Glass shades are uneven around the top fitting hole so when hung hang at a slight angle
