I bought this on a pice reduction, and for the money, the jacket is first rate. Perfect for walking. It’s quite basic....no hood adjustment, etc, but it looks great. Showered rather than a windy downpour!

I bought this as an over coat so I could wear it over two fleeces. It fits great and is waterproof

I bought this jacket for my son-in-law. It's exactly what he wanted. A lightweight jacket, that is water resistant. Very versatile, so can be worn on it;s own, or with a fleece underneith on colder days. I really like the colour.

When M&S get it right, boy, do they get it right. This is a great lightweight jacket and looks fantastic. It's a simple design with a few little design touches (the zip on the front chest pocket for one), that make it look great.

Poor anorak

No, I don't recommend this
My husband purchased this to use instead of his usual and heavier waterproof jackets. Ther're more walking orientated, this is more casual. It's first outing was in Wales last week. It was raining so he put the jacket on, after 15 minutes of walking the rain was soaking through onto his shirt. The coat took 2 days to dry out at home. The hood is also not too good. It's large and has no adjustments at all. No toggles or rear adjustment so it sits over your face. It also catches the wind and when you turn your head to look left or right, the hood blocks your face. The zips are poor too, they feel very rough and stick when pulling up or down. Look elsewhere for a light waterproof, this is useless.

Was worried it would look a bit outdated for my age category, but love it and it fits really well - great for when its not warm enough to leave with less
