Girls Slim Leg Additional Length Trousers

The product name is totally misleading. The trousers are called additional length but we received trousers which are short (as on the label). Quality looked good but had to go back.

These are a lifesaver for my Grandaughters who are small and very slim for their age. All children whatever their size deserve to feel confident at school in properly fitting clothes. If you have a skinny child it can be a nightmare to get trousers to fit as the leg is usually to short if they fit the waist. Thank goodness for these M&S trousers and the happiness they bring to the very slimmest of girls.

I wish there were more long length clothes for girls ..many are tall these days ..my big issue however is shops seem to think as kids grow upwards they grow out too! The waistband on the clothes are huge ..go up in yrs on school skirts and you'll get a cm on length but 4cm on waist! These trousers are ok style wise but again this now gender neutral piece of clothing is completely plain (cost cutting excuse) .where have the embellishments gone ..embroidery and silver touches we used have ..girls still like their fancy touches ..

Ordered four different styles in the same size 12-13 years in a long, and this style was the best fit! Good length for a 5ft 2 11 year old. All the others went back as too short. They don't stock any length other than standard in store, so those of us with tall kids have to order online and try at home.

Great buy. I was having trouble finding the right uniform trousers for my daughter. Bought the 10-11 yrs size and it fits perfectly.

My daughter and I noticed straight away that the fabric sounded crinkly - like stiff tissue paper/or when static is building up. It really put us off the trousers. They sounded too weird. Plus they were too small. But the sound of the fabric was more disturbing. We also had a different type of M & S school trouser delivered and they just sounded normal - meaning there was no sound! So we've returned these and ordered more of the silent stuff.

The only place I could find longer lengh school trousers for my tall daughter - they are excellent quality, hard wearing and my daughter says comfortable. She does have to pull the waist in aquite a bit but then she is very slim. I WOULD recommend - they are much better quality than other stores.

I struggled to find grey school trousers for my daughter who is very tall but also very slim. I bought aged 12/13 even though she is 14 this year and they fitted perfectly around the waist and with the additional length, thankfully were long enough in the leg. Would recommend these for tall, slim girls when the regular length trousers are too short.

Used to struggle to get trousers slim enough at waist but long enough in length. I got my daughter age 8-9 trousers (she's 10) in extra long length = perfect. The zip pockets are a nice detail She preferred them to the "skinny" trousers M&S also has.

Size 7-8 long perfect for my tallish, skinny 8 year old.

These trousers are brilliant, great quality, the leg length is why I bought them as my 12 year old daughter has very long legs but is very slim so had to buy extra long leg and they fit perfectly (just hope she stops growing now)

My daughter had these school trousers in the long length. She had only grown taller so I got the same size in the extra long length expecting them to dig perfectly. They are fantastic in length but appear to be a little loose/baggy round the groin and bottom, so they do fit slightly differently.
