The best I've tried.

I've tried many thickening mousse over the years and this is the best. Expensive but it works. No silicon in it to make hair feel artificial.

Absolutely amazing. Well worth the money. Honestly, for the first time ever my hair feels thicker and has more texture. It was recommended by Nadine Baggott, on her Instagram page. Glad I took note.

I had such high hopes for this product, based on the reviews, the description and the price. I'm sad to say that this product didn't work for me at all. In fact, I was so unimpressed I contacted M&S and they gave me a refund for this and the other products in the range. I've tried small amounts to large - the result is the same: limp and sticky hair and an itchy scalp. The mousse drizzles out in a wet splodge, despite following the instructions carefully. I have fine and thinning hair, mid-length. It's challenging hair but that's why I was prepared to pay over the odds for this product. I shall return to my mousse that's £17 cheaper with better results. Such a shame - I'd have been more than happy to continue paying this price if the product lived up to its claims. It clearly works for some, but not for me.

I have enjoyed this particular hair styling product which definitely has a light touch and yet makes my hair feel full and thick.

I’m not sure some of the reviews on here can be true or real. Because Why would anyone not be impressed by this? I have baby hair. Fine and flat Every day I wake up and whatever style i worked so hard to achieve yesterday has fled through the night and all that remains is flat, thin hair and I have to start styling all over again. Not any more! I actually still have some substance in my hair in the morning. I have used the thickening cream in this range before and presumed the mousse would be similar. The cream worked bit left my hair a bit dry and hairspray on top of it made it worse. This mousse just makes my hair feel ... thick! And not sticky, dry or tacky. The best product I’ve ever had . And, truthfully, I’ve tried an awful lot. Highly recommend.

I have bought living proof thickening mousse for years from M&S. I have very fine hair and have tried many different types of thickening products, but this is by far the best.

This is the BEST mousse EVER!!! Have tried so many other ones and nothing even comes close to this one. Have fine limp hair and when I used this it gave me full thick looking hair. I have used this product for a couple of years and even have a stock of 8 cans because I'd be lost if they ever discontinued it. If you have thin fine hair then this is the mousse for you. You don't need to use much and it doesn't make your hair sticky either. Can't recommend it enough!!!

I found it strange that the only written English instruction was a round label stuck on the lid saying " hold can upright to dispense". I presume you shake the can beforehand like other mousses, It did not seem to give me any extra boost than my normal and cheaper mousse; not sure that I will be buying anymore after finishing this can. I read an article online recommending this product.

Best mousse for thickening

On reading good and bad reviews I have to agree with both. I found it is great for my hair for thickening much better than its cheaper rival. But I agree it’s too running and at the end of the can it’s like water and makes your hair sticky, whilst its rival makes your hair lovely and soft and shiny but doesn’t hold. My hair is very fine and thin so not many products work, this does so I put up with the negatives. It is pricey but I purchase their range when it is 20% off or 3 for 2.

Consistency a bit thinner than expected. Worked ok for me though. Free with two shampoos so could not complain about orice

The Mousse was quite runny to use which made it difficult to apply, however the effect was even more disappointing as it dried quite sticky and the finished effect made my hair look matt and dull. The product came as a free gift when I purchased 2 other items in the same range which is just as well as I wont be using this again, which I may have considered depsite the high price (£10) if it have fulfilled expectations.

First time to try this and it’s ok only bought it because my usual percy and reed was out of stock a bit pricey. The mousse is a bit watery. It’s not for my hair will go back to my favourite

Really disappointed! Little transformation Left my hair dull and not shiny with very little difference to its body. I did buy when it had 20% off but Will Not be buying again.
