Do not buy this! Get literally any other mattress - this gave me unbearable back pain and even gave a guest (who does not normally suffer from back problems) back pain after the first night! At this point I can only sleep for an hour or so at a time on this as I wake up constantly in pain and the longer I have owned this mattress the worse it has got so I am now throwing this out after only a few months with no hopes of getting any money back. I’m really disappointed - for some reason I thought that even the cheapest mattress m&s had would be reasonable quality but no. Just no! You would be better off buying the cheapest thing Argos has. To top it off it comes with a leaflet explaining that you must have a bed frame with extremely narrowly spaced slats or buy a piece of mdf to cover your slats or this mattress will not be covered by any guarantee. The average bed frame will not meet these specifications so this really should be detailed in the product description before you order. This is 100% the worst thing I have ever bought, unfortunately - in the past I have always been pleased with M&S product quality so I’m not sure why they are selling these awful things. If you want to avoid a slipped disc just don’t go near this.

The mattress is meant to be soft/medium and I can assure you , it's far from it!! It's like sleeping on a wooden board! All my pressure points are so sore with it . I bitterly regret wasting my money on it

A little on the firm side of medium but a mattress topper has helped. I’m very disappointed that it’s already sagging in the centre after only occasional use. I wouldn’t buy again.

This mattress was a bit thinner than I expected but is quite comfortable. However like a previous review which I read, the springs are very noisy. The othr review stated that they were told it was because they had a wooden bed base, which i also have, but this was not mentioned in the descrption. I have been turning it round as advised and find that one side is nosier than the other. Apart from that it is quite comfortable.

I bought this online for my 80 year old Dad. It looks just like the pictures and matches the description. He thought it was really comfortable. It's quite a soft mattress, but that was what my dad required. Good value for money. Arrived on time and within the scheduled delivery slot.

My mattress arrived last week and l noticed a musty damp smell coming off it so l removed all the bedding and left the mattress on the bed for a day with the window open.The next day it was fine so l put the bedding back on the bed.This morning when l woke up l could smell that damp musty smell again.Not happy

Recently bought this to replace a much more expensive mattress which made me way too hot. Am really pleased with this mattress as it has all of the comfort of the previous mattress but keeps me lovely and warm without overheating. Great value fmoney.

I would not recommend anyone to purchase this mattress, for the price of it I was totally disappointed with it and also for marks and spencer to retail such a poor quality item. As a result i am having to re purchase a new one after a period of only 4 weeks Due to uncomfortable sleepless nights. I believe marks and spencer deliver high quality products but unfortunately in this case I was bitterly disappointed especially for the amount of money I spent on the whole bill was around £1700!
