Assumed that this cover would have the same heat distribution as a heated blanket. It does not. Only the central wire provides slight warmth. Otherwise, better off using a washable blanket.

Lovely fabric, would be good as a normal blanket, but it didn't get warm enough even on the top setting for me. I gave it a full hour and it felt just a bit warm......I compared it to a blanket my father has and his is far better, so i've sent this back and brought the one he has.

The throw is Soft, Warm, Comfortable and feels Luxurious. Do read the instructions as it is important that you follow them to get the best use from using the throw. It is not expensive to use and it can be machine washed and I can’t imagine facing a winter without it again.
