Incorrect size

No, I don't recommend this
The shirt quality is fine but this is not an XL size which is what I ordered. It is labelled as XL but I have other M and S shirts labelled XL which are a much more comfortable fit You need to check more closely with your suppliers that they use the correct size given for manufacturer and stop trying to cut costs.

My husband liked this, so much he spilt is coffee down it but stuffed it quickly in the wm and my gas tumble dryer…it’s fine now an hour or so of hanging in a warm place no ironing…ironing is illegal.

Good quality material but too skimpy. I always buy shirts in medium size from M&S and elsewhere and they usually fit perfectly but this was much too tight.

I hadn't bought anything from M&S for a while as I had been disappointed with previous purchases. I bought three shirts which all fitted beautifully, really nice quality and good value. So M&S is back for me.

Silly sizes not consistent

So silly that marks and spencer do not stick to sizes. Already have many marks Xl perfect fit. These are about 2 sizes smaller. Don't understand what buyers are doing

I bought this shirt for my son. The blue and white stripe looks very smart but also looks casual with shorts. He is very happy with this purchase.

I've bought my clothes from M&S for about 25 years & always found them great value, especially the Blue Harbour range. I'm normally an XL & bought 2 shirts recently, one I've had to go for xxl (made in India) but this striped shirt I've had to go for xxxl (made in Bangladesh). For the past few years I've noticed that even xl shirts have fitted differently, some are a little loose, some a little tight but all comfortable. What I can't understand is surely all sizes have a standard sizing to manufacture to so why do the sizes vary from country to country ??? Why not just support Britain @ buy local, our manufacturing is by far better than foreign countries & the standards are greater aswell.

Nice Holiday Casual Shirt

Bought for when I can eventually go on holiday. The shirt is well made and the linen material will be nice and cool. The fit is barely ‘Regular’, it fits a little small and so for it to be a casual shirt I had to exchange it for a larger size.

I bought this shirt for my holidays but it so good I’m wearing it already, it’s a brilliant fit and a great fabric.

Far too small

No, I don't recommend this
I'm usually a 2XL (which gives me room to spare) and I can barely even do this up. It's also far too tight across the shoulders and in the arms. This is the second shirt that I've bought recently from M&S which doesn't fit me, so I'm not sure what is going on with the sizes. For reference, I tried on one of my older shirts in the same size and that still fits perfectly. It's very disappointed as the shirt itself has a good colour and a nice feel.
