I tried M & S after finding that the latex backing on other bath mats disintegrated with washing. I am yet to try my new mat so I cannot comment on my decision.

I washed two of these pedestal mats with two matching guest towels in the machine on their own. They picked up so much fluff of each other and look old and well worn. Not the look I was after for my new bathroom. Before washing they looked lovely (washed before I used them) the pattern is bright and matches the colour scheme. I spent hours trying to find something like them. This is very disappointing. They look tatty when they are pretty much new. I have no desire to take them to a store or post office to return as I ordered online as don’t feel safe out and about yet. Looks like I’m stuck with old looking mats.

With two little boys in the house I definitely need this mat! It’s a lovely bold design in nice colours. It brightens up the room and is good quality. Just slightly too small for the toilets in my house but does the trick

Don't buy it. First time this went into the washing machine, it end up clogged with blue fluff. Now, it still sheds a lot of fluff which ends up on the carpet in the entire house. Too late to return it...

I haven't returned this as I really needed a new mat but honestly, it's very floppy and thin. I was expecting thicker and more robust fabric. It has washed OK on 30 degrees. I would rather pay more for a better quality mat. Everyone is very conscious of the environment nowadays and we try to avoid throwing things away that might end up in landfill so something more durable would be appreciated.
